This was Tyler's apartment next to the Erickson Building.
They had spent many days and nights here in the past.
"Remember this place?" Tyler's voice came from beside her. "Emilia, the time we spent here."
She looked up and met his gaze.
His eyes were bloodshot, filled with a complex mix of emotions: reminiscence, and... hatred.
His hand was still covering her mouth, as if he didn't want to hear her answer, just talking to himself.
And watching her.
Emilia didn't understand.
His brow was furrowed, his eyes moist, and he finally let out a sad laugh.
Then, Emilia felt a strong grip on her waist as he pulled her into the apartment.
Slam!
He slammed the door shut and finally removed his hand from her mouth.
"Tyler, what are you doing! Help!" Emilia immediately screamed for help.
But he ignored her, hoisting her struggling form over his shoulder.
"You know perfectly well that it's useless to scream in here," his voice echoed.
Emilia's eyes turned red with panic. Of course, she knew.
She was a light sleeper, so all of their homes had been specially soundproofed.
On top of that, although it was an apartment building, it was a high-end property with excellent soundproofing to begin with. Basically, once inside, no one outside would hear her.
But…
Emilia's heart pounded with anxiety. She had hoped to find someone in the hallway after getting off the elevator, but now…
Tyler's behavior was terrifying her.
As she was thinking, Tyler carried the kicking and struggling Emilia into the bedroom.
He threw her onto the large bed.
She immediately tried to get up.
But in the next second, he pinned her down again.
"Tyler!"
She hated this feeling of being overpowered!
