Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 511

“You thought she and I were living together, that we’d slept together, so you decided to force yourself on her?”

Tyler’s eyes were shrouded in darkness. In that moment, he was like a hawk, glaring fiercely at Theodore.

But Theodore’s face was calm—impossibly so.

The two of them stared at each other in a silent standoff.

The cold, white light shone down on them, casting a chill that didn't belong in the summer heat.

After what felt like an eternity, Theodore was the first to speak.

“She and I never had a relationship,” he said. “I’m not afraid to tell you, we never even slept in the same bed. At Glenn Manor, we had separate rooms.”

“What?” It seemed to take a moment for Tyler to process what Theodore was saying.

Theodore sneered. “So, do you realize now how ridiculous and disgusting your actions were?”

“You forced her for something she never even did!”

For a moment, Tyler was completely lost.

Then, a tidal wave of guilt washed over him, nearly breaking him.

He had assumed…

“But Tyler,” Theodore’s voice cut in, still ice-cold, “even if she and I had slept together, so what?”

“You’re divorced. What right do you have?”

“Who do you think you are to treat her like that?”

“That was rape!”

“You didn’t care if she lived or died, Tyler. If I hadn’t gotten there in time yesterday, I suspect she might have died in that bed!”

Only then did a flicker of hatred finally break through Theodore’s calm voice.

He leaned in closer to Tyler.

Theodore nodded, and the two of them left together.

Once they were in the car, Theodore looked at Christian.

“I don’t think we should let him have it too easy,” Theodore said, giving Christian a meaningful look.

Christian rubbed his hands together excitedly, then nodded in silent understanding.

“Just tell me what you need me to do,” Christian said.

Theodore nodded.

As the car pulled away, Theodore stared out the window at the overcast, rainy sky, his expression cold as ice.

He really needed to plan carefully.

He had to plan his next moves for both the Dennis family and the Erickson family.

After years of holding back, it seemed the time to strike had finally come.
