Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 545

She had been waiting for news from Felix, but she had also told him it was okay if he found nothing. She was already prepared for him to come back empty-handed, just like Christian’s friend had.

She never imagined things would escalate to this point, where Felix could even face prison time.

It was her fault.

Besides, this was something she should have done herself from the beginning.

Felix opened his mouth to say something, but Emilia looked at him with such earnestness.

“Alright,” Felix conceded, understanding her resolve.

Tyler was still standing there, watching her from a distance, the safe in his hand.

He was about to say something when suddenly—

“Well, isn't this a party?” a woman’s voice called out.

Everyone turned.

It was Vivienne.

Vivienne walked over, followed by her assistant, who was hastily carrying equipment.

The assistant was also holding a device for the livestream.

Understanding Emilia’s intention, Theodore quickly pushed Felix into the car, keeping him out of the camera’s view.

Vivienne walked over, smiling as she looked at everyone present.

“What’s everyone doing here?” Vivienne stopped and looked at Emilia, who was wrapped in her coat. “Emilia, shouldn’t you be at your concert? What brings you here?”

Theodore frowned, about to step forward, but Emilia placed a hand on his arm, stopping him.

Seeing this, Vivienne immediately put on a pitiful expression, looking frightened.

Tyler was about to speak, but Vivienne turned to him. “Tyler, are you going to side with her, too?”

Her question left Tyler in an awkward position.

Then, she added, “Emilia, what are you planning to do to me now?”

The livestream camera was rolling as Emilia watched Vivienne’s performance.

“I am planning to do something,” Emilia said.

“No,” Emilia replied without even a glance at Tyler. “Vivienne, do you remember everything you’ve done these past few days?”

Vivienne frowned slightly, looking at Emilia in confusion.

She didn’t understand what Emilia was talking about.

She had no idea why Emilia had specifically shown up here.

In her plan, Emilia wasn’t supposed to appear at all.

“Do you need me to remind you?” Emilia asked.

“Emilia, are you threatening me?” Vivienne said, her eyes red. “Do you know how many people are watching right now?”

The more Emilia looked at the woman before her, the more disgusted she felt.

Who was threatening whom?

However…

“You can see it that way,” Emilia said calmly. “I am threatening you.”
