Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 573

Now, looking at her face, it felt slightly unfamiliar.

She touched her cheek, and the familiar sensation returned.

She curved her lips into a faint smile, and the reflection in the mirror smiled back.

After her shower, Emilia was exhausted. She lay down on the bed and quickly fell asleep.

The moonlight was as soft as water.

Prism Ivy House.

Christian and the others had arrived.

They had been debating whether to get barbecue or go for drinks, when Joyce suggested, “We could get barbecue and take it to Prism Ivy House.”

Everyone immediately agreed.

Christian sent one of his guys to pick up the food while the rest of them headed to the club.

The place was as lively as ever.

A waiter soon brought bottles of liquor to their private room.

One by one, they were opened.

Felix grabbed a bottle and started chugging it down.

Christian and Raymond exchanged a look.

They both knew what Felix had done in Solmaris.

So, they didn't stop him.

Joyce glanced at her brother and, when he paused for a breath, snatched the bottle from him.

“Pace yourself. I’m not carrying you home if you get wasted,” Joyce said irritably.

Felix wiped his mouth and nodded silently.

Just then, the person sent to get their food arrived.

“Let’s eat!” Christian called out.

He then sent his guy out to buy more.

Seeing Felix was still dejected, Christian handed him a skewer.

“Didn’t you say The Glenn Group’s people were handling things in Solmaris? Buddy, what’s the latest?” Christian asked.

Felix took the skewer and took a bite.

In fact, Joyce was happily munching on her barbecue.

Christian exchanged a few more words with Felix and then let it be. They were all adults; there was no point in dwelling on things.

As for him, Christian was now focused on his business.

Growing his empire was his goal!

With that, the group started to liven up.

Just a wall away, Owen sat in another private room.

He had called Tyler several times, but he never picked up.

Owen let out a long sigh.

Lately, events had spiraled beyond their control.

Especially with that Vivienne.

He used to think that even though Vivienne was a florist and an online influencer, she was at least kind-hearted.

But over the past few days, as more and more things came to light…

“I don’t know how this is all going to end,” Owen murmured softly.
