Perhaps there was nothing left for him to be afraid of facing.
It couldn't possibly get any worse than this.
He entered the password.
*Beep! Password correct. Safe opening!*
The notification sound was different from the countless times he had tried before.
Tyler opened the safe and took out the file inside.
At the same time, outside Vivian Floral Atelier, countless cameras zoomed in on the documents Emilia had placed on the table.
Vivienne also looked down.
Emilia unfolded the pages, one by one, and just as Vivienne had wished, presented Vivienne's real medical records from the Solmaris Clinic for all to see.
One second, Vivienne was playing the victim, her expression full of grievance and her act utterly convincing. The next, her composure shattered.
Vivienne stared at the medical records in disbelief.
How was this possible!
How did Emilia get her records?
Vivienne's head snapped up to look at Emilia.
Emilia just met her gaze calmly.
Their eyes locked, and though not a word was spoken, they both understood.
The surrounding crowd erupted.
A deafening roar of voices filled the entire street, punctuated by screams and denials.
Emilia watched Vivienne. Unlike the frantic emotion in Vivienne's eyes, her own were placid.
The moment she had confirmed the truth, Emilia had mostly felt it was ridiculous, and then, tragic.
It was ridiculous that Vivienne had used such a trick to deceive everyone, and tragic to think of the price everyone had paid for it.
As things had escalated to this point, she had felt many emotions toward Vivienne.
There was a moment of fury, a moment of hatred that had consumed her.
Now, she just wanted to end it all.
Expose Vivienne and make her pay the price she deserved.
Then, she would get what belonged to the Dennis family, carry out her plans, and live out the rest of her life with the people she loved.
