"She's my girlfriend now," Theodore shot back, his voice icing over.

"Resolving this is better for both of us," Tyler insisted earnestly. "Do you really want her to carry this trauma for the rest of her life?"

Theodore's jaw tightened. His eyes locked onto Tyler, blazing with absolute disgust.
