The memories were agonizing.
Down in the basement.
Tyler stared at Vivienne, who was thrashing wildly, her face turning purple from lack of oxygen.
He hated her with every fiber of his being.
But his own stupidity had caused all of this.
Their child... his Emilia...
Just as Vivienne was on the brink of death, Tyler released his crushing grip on her throat and tossed her aside like trash.
She collapsed onto the concrete floor, coughing violently and gasping for air.
Looking up at Tyler, who had slumped back into his wheelchair, she shrieked, "You're a lunatic, Tyler!"
He merely sat there, his head bowed in silence.
Vivienne cursed at him for a long time.
Once she finally caught her breath, she glared at him with pure hatred. Even if he wanted to kill her, didn't he eventually have to yield to her demands?
She burst into a fit of manic laughter and ordered, "Get the money ready right now, Tyler, and let me out of here!"
Her entire body trembled, but she kept laughing. She, Vivienne Hargrave, was still the ultimate winner.
"You want money?" Tyler slowly raised his head. "You want to leave?"
A bloodthirsty smirk crept across his face.
"You're not going anywhere, Vivienne."
She froze for a second before yelling, "I still have Emilia's photos!"
But Tyler just kept smiling.
He stared at her, his smile twisting into something eerie and dark.
"If you hadn't mentioned those photos, I would have just sent you to prison," Tyler said softly. "But now, I've changed my mind."
"I won't let you die."
"But I won't let you live comfortably, either."
Panic flashed in Vivienne's eyes. "Eugene..."
"Eugene might be out there, but if he wants you to stay alive, he wouldn't dare leak a single photo," Tyler stated, enunciating every word. "I will track him down. He will fall into my hands."
With that, Tyler turned his wheelchair and headed for the heavy basement door.
