Fated Human Mate novel Chapter 58

Just when I was about to call Alpha Noah I felt someone trying to communicate with me through our mind link.

"Ryan!" Lily yelled.

"What?"

"Alex is in heat, you need to get down her right away."

"What?" I asked unsure if I heard her correctly.

"She's in heat, you jackass."

"Oh shit!" I jumped up and ran to the front door. "Don't leave her sight, and keep males away from her."

"Got it, you owe me by the way."

"Whatever Lily, just do what I say."

I got inside my car and speed to the restaurant. I turned an hour ride to a 0-minute ride and before I knew it I was running into Mel's Diner like a chicken with their head cut off.

As soon as I opened up the door her delicious scent surround me, instantly making my wolf go crazy. "Alex, are you okay."

I check her body making sure that she was fine, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you about this, I completely forgot."

While I didn't forget that she was going to go into heat soon, I did forget to inform her about it. I can't help but be upset with myself for not preparing her for the pain that comes with being in heat.

"Right," Lily muttered sarcastically and I ignored her. "She's fine, but you might want to hurry up and get her out of here for things get worse."

I picked up Alex bridal style and begin carrying her out of her office. "What wrong with Alex?" Melissa asked when we walked out of my office.

"She's has a fever." I lied.

It took everything in me to not attack her when she touched Alex's forehead. When a female is in heat no one should touch her but her mate.

"She's burning up, maybe she should go to the hospital."

"It's just a fever," Alex told her.

"Alex you should still go to a hospital just in case it's something else."

"I like this look on you." Ryan whistled appreciatively as I walked out of our bathroom. We had just finished mating for the umpteenth time, and I was wearing a pair of his clean boxers and one of his white button up shirts.

It turns out that mating was the only way to get rid of the pain, it had been a couple of days and the pain that I felt was no more. Previously we hadn't had any major conversations about us mating but it really didn't matter as of now. I don't have any regret and plus we both loved each other and are destine to be together forever.

"Of course, you do." I playfully rolled my eyes. I climbed into bed and cuddled up next to him, he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. "Can we watch the new season of Unbreakable?"

"Sure." He picked up the remote and turned on the TV, scrolling down until he found the Netflix app. Just as the show was beginning my phone began to ring. It had been off for the past few days, it wasn't until an hour ago when I finally put it on the charger.

Ryan reached over to grab my phone off the nightstand. "It's Liz, she's called about fifty times. You also have a few dozen calls from Melissa."

"Shit, she's probably worried about me." I grabbed my phone from Ryan and answered the call right away. "Hello?"

"Alex? What the fuck?" She yelled into the phone. She continued to scream so I removed the phone from my ear so that I could save my eardrum.

"Liz, calm down," I told her when she finally stopped screaming.

"No, you calm down! I've been calling you for days. I was so freaking worried. Where are you?"
