From there we had traded information back and forth. I had learned that both Ryan and Mason had been captured together and were being held in somewhere in the middle of our territory. Max had a vengeance against The Moonlight Pack because they had been the cause of his mother's death, so in his mind, they too had to pay.
When Avery woke back up I had put the phone on speaker and she had been relaying the messages to Tyler. We had agreed that both of our packs would work together to bring down the rogues for once and all.
ALPHA RYAN
"No, wait." My father said stopping all of the movements between the rogues.
"You have last words." Max nodded. "I'm dying to hear them." He chuckled. "I kid go on, Dad."
He flinched before responding, "I know what I did was wrong and I'm willing to spend every day of my life making things up to you."
"I'm almost thirty, do you really think I need you now." My father words were meant to calm Max down and try to get him to change his mind when they did nothing but infuriate him even more. "I needed you when my mother died. I needed you when I was going days without food. I needed you when-."
"I get it and you're completely right." My father interrupted Max from his rant. "You needed me and I wasn't there." He looked down and shame. "I should 00% have to pay for what I've done but these boys have nothing to do with the mistakes that I have made." He gestured to Mason and I.
Max growled. "There you go again putting someone above me, and he isn't even your son." He referred to Mason. "You know what no more last words, it time for you guys to die."
A rogue next to Max handed him a machete. "And you're going to go first," Max said as he made his way over to my father.
"I swear if you do anything to him, I'm going to kill you." I threaten him, making him in response chuckle.
"I'll like to see you try," Max said before nodding at a rogue who then punched me in the face.
"How about you take these cuffs off and I'll show you. Fight me like the man that you say you are." Blood leaked down my mouth.
"I'll take you up on that offer after I kill father if you don't mind."
"Ryan." My father called out and my eyes shifted to him. "Tell your mother that I love her and that I'm so sorry."
"Aww, that's so sad. Too bad Ryan won't be alive to relay that message." He smirked. "And neither will you."
"Well keep on wishing because that never going to happen."
LUNA ALEX
Shortly after my conversation with Hailee ended we learned that Paul had been killed. The screams of Lisa could be heard from a mile away, same for Lily. They were inconsolable which eventually lead to Lily been transported upstairs where she and her mother could grieve together and so that they could also not be a distraction to Avery and I who were still trying to put all the pieces together.
Hailee getting in contact with me had served as a good idea. We had narrowed down the list of possible locations where are mates were and now both of our available wolves were on their way to find our Alphas. Our only wish was for them both to be alive when we found them.
"They have spotted them." Avery relayed the message from Tyler to me.
"What's happening? Is Ryan okay?" I asked without frantically. While I could still feel the mate bond it was faint and I had no idea what that meant.
"Ryan and Max are fighting."
I stiffen knowing that Max had to be strong and wise for all the planning and masterminding that he did for this attack. The possibility of Ryan not coming home scared me to death. I've grown so use to him begin here. I wasn't so sure if I could survive losing another person that I was so close to.
