*~Leon’s POV~*
By the time I was done, I packed my belongings and then I went downstairs to wait and then told all of us to go move. And it was only Alice that was there. She turned to me and she immediately abandoned her gaze away from me. She was still hostile and beefing me a little because she still blames me for everything and every trouble Aurora is in. And I don’t know how, but I know one day I will gain her trust back.
Then Hazel, then Lilith, then Caspian — they all joined us. And as usual, Cayden was the last. Then Cayden cracked his voice.
"So we are all ready now?"
We nodded, and then he just spoke up.
"I’m very sorry, I know we are late already, but Cyrius is on his way," she said.
And Cayden sighed. "We know, but we don’t have forever."
"I know we don’t have forever, but it’s just... it’s already soon. It’s already nearby. Who are we going to leave the twins for if we all leave?"
Then Cayden touched the bridge of his nose. "I know they are maids and the high house is heavily protected. Their grandparents are also around. The twins will be fine. It’s just—"
Then the door opened and I turned to see Cyrius standing by the door. He entered with a smirk on his face and Hazel was the first person to rush to him. She pulled him into a hug and buried her face in his chest.
"Oh, Cyrius," she said.
And then he hugged her back, kissing her forehead. They stood there for a moment, and it was Caspian that broke them up with a sarcastic cough.
Then Cyrius looked up. "Oh, come here, Caspian. I know you also want a hug."
Caspian just rolled his eyes while Cayden kept growling.
"Why do you take forever? If you had been one second more late, you would have disappeared and you would not see us."
"Well, I’m glad I’m lucky I came here faster."
"Yeah, you are," Cayden said.
And then Hazel turned. "Well, Cyrius, we are going— we are going to the forest of... we are going to a particular forest. I want to go find Aurora," she said.
And Cyrius turned around. "Why is it that you guys are always in one trouble or the other? Why is that?" he said.
And Cayden shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I guess we should change our pack name to the House of Drama at this point."
"Well, we don’t have much time left. Hazel called you here to come and take charge of the twins and also the high house. And I want to tell you something. My twins better be in better health by the time I get back. If not, I will whip your head outside if you decide to be funny with them like you did earlier."
"Oh, you seem to forget that I’m the one who named— you seem to forget that I’m the one who named those two. And those two were practically born in my hands. So, they’ll be fine. You’ll be fine. And they’ll be fine," Cyrius said sarcastically, pissing Cayden more off.
Cayden wanted to say more, but Caspian touched his hand. "It’s enough, Cayden," he said.
And Cayden turned to Cyrius. "You’ll be here. You’ll be here for me," he said.
And then we all packed our things and we decided to go. And Cyrius turned to Hazel and kissed her forehead.
"Be safe."
"Oh," she blushed. Caspian grabbed her hand away from Cyrius.
We began our journey as we took a carriage. A very huge one.
