Gigi:
I prepared breakfast, and while I was doing so, Ragnar woke up.
I didn’t tell him anything.
He did not need to know anything as of yet. Of course he will find out eventually.
I put her phone back in his pants and told him I would be washing them, and he didn’t think much of it.
So that is how his pants ended up on the couch in the living room.
I wanted to set up a perfect scene where a murder happens, but I am not the killer.
I had other people to use as my weapons.
Of course, I didn’t tell Ragnar that Verity had called. I let him believe I was unaware of everything.
The thought of him cheating on me was killing me.
Her words were still ringing in my ears, causing me extreme headache.
Even though it was only Verity’s word against the love Ragnar and I shared, I was still very confused.
There was a lot going on in my mind, but I was going to be very careful with everything and with how I proceeded.
At the very least, I shouldn’t be the one to suggest that something had happened between her and Ragnar.
So, when Ragnar went out for a jog, I called his brothers over for breakfast.
I knew they would be more than happy to come because they always enjoyed spending time with me.
They arrived in comfortable clothes, smiling from ear to ear.
"Has Oliver woken up yet?" Theodore asked, pinching my cheek before grabbing a sausage and taking a bite, admiring all the food I had prepared for breakfast.
"No, he’s still sleeping," I replied, rubbing my hands together to clean them.
"You know what? I was thinking about everything," I began, watching Theodore and Jaguar shove food into their mouths without even sitting down properly.
It was their pre-breakfast meal. They would just shove everything down their throats.
These were big men. They needed more food than everyone else.
"And I realized something," I said, smiling at them.
Jaguar lifted his head after taking a big bite of fruit, watching me with his beautiful eyes, while Theodore gulped down some cold water.
Whenever they were in the living room with me, showing off their masculine sides as they wandered around, I would feel heat spread through my body, almost as if I was ready to be taken.
Having them walk around me, catching their scents, and feeling them embrace me was a different kind of feeling.
All I was missing was Ragnar.
But Ragnar had really saddened me.
He had disappointed me, and I wasn’t going to let it go.
I knew there was someone who would take a strong stand for me.
