Five Alphas Kneel for Me (Isabella) novel Chapter 658

Chapter 658.

Grayson let out a low, pleased rumble from his chest at my words, his Alpha presence flaring just enough to make my own wolf tilt her head in submission.

That rumble sent a jolt, like an electric current through the Blood Bond, spreading across every inch of me as our bodies pressed together. My wolf stirred, her senses heightened by the proximity of her fatedmate.

He gently turned me, so I was facing him.

In the dim light of the den, his dark amber eyes shone with an alarming brightness, brimming with mischievous amusement and the raw, unconcealed desire of a predator. He leaned down, rubbing his nose against mine in a tender, intimate gesturea wolf’s way of claiming

Alright. Restraint.

Even as he agreed, his voice was rough, thick with the unspent desire of his wolf.

The words were barely out before his tall, powerful frame was covering mine.

A gasp escaped me. Instinctively, I reached up, pushing against the solid, burning planes of his chest.

Grayson! But you said tonight-

I bit my lip again, my voice a murmur. You said tonight we weren’t going to do anything. That you’d let me rest.”

Before I could even finish my sentence, his lips claimed mine, his pheromones cedar and cold rainoverwhelming my senses. As our mouths moved together, I heard his muffled, laughing voice.

It’s not tonightanymore.

My face instantly burned.

I stared at the window, the thick curtains barely holding back the dawn of the rising sun. A sliver of daylight peeked through the gap, confirming his words. It really wasn’t tonightanymore. The moon had set, and the morning shift was upon us.

When I finally woke up again, the sun was already high in the sky over the Silvermoon territory.

My entire body ached, every muscle screaming in protest as if I had shifted ten times in a row. I couldn’t even muster the strength to lift a single finger. My wolf was curled up in a corner of my mind, exhausted but content.

With a tremendous effort, I managed to turn my head, glaring fiercely at the male beside me. Grayson looked utterly refreshed, a smug, satisfied smirk playing on his lips. His Alpha vitality was seemingly endless.

So much for Grayson’s restraint-he’d wanted me twice.

Yeah, that was Grayson’s idea of restraint, alright.

One round had felt like two; he’d lingered and tangled me up until I’d practically begged him to stop, over and over, his wolf’s possessiveness surging with every touch.

He must have felt my accusing glare through our bond, because Grayson opened his eyes, rolled towards me, and with a lazy stretch of his arm, pulled me flush against his chest again.

He lowered his head and kissed my forehead, then reached a hand behind my waist, massaging it with just the right amount of

Still tired?

pressure.

I kept glaring at him.

My glare seemed to melt something in him, and I could tell through our mental link that he felt a little guilty. He let out a low chuckle. Come on, there’s nothing pressing today. Go back to sleep.

That only made the fire in my gut burn hotter.

Who said nothing’s pressing?!

My voice was hoarse with exhaustion, but it was laced with accusation.

I have to go see my brother at the Healer Wing today!

Grayson’s hand, still massaging my lower back, froze for a split second.

His momentary pause was enough to confirm it: he’d been so captivated by our bond that he’d completely forgotten,

Seeing the fire blazing in my eyes, Grayson immediately lowered his head and nuzzled my cheek with his nose, his scent softening to something soothing. His voice softened, clearly trying to placate me.

My fault, my fault. Next time,

promise I’ll pay attention.

I closed my eyes, refusing to acknowledge him.

Next time? I fumed silently.

Me? Believe his next timeagain? Not a chance!

I pushed myself up, intending to head to the washroom and get ready.

But the instant my foot hit the ground, the pervasive ache and weakness that clung to my body intensified. It felt like my foot didn’t even properly meet the stone floor. My body lurched sideways, and I nearly toppled over

Thankfully, Grayson was quick enough to wrap an armi around my waist, steadying me with Alpha speed before I could actually fall. Sorry, maybe you should lie back down for a bit?

I shot him a withering glare. Grasping the wall for support, I carefully lowered both feet to the floor, then shuffled into the bathroom

An hour later.

The black ShadowAlpha Runner smoothly pulled up in front of the BlazeTech Pack Sanctum.

Grayson opened my door and carefully helped me out, his hand lingering on my arm.

I was just about to walk in when I noticed Grayson casually close the vehicle door, then he followed right behind me.

I turned, a little surprised.

I thought you were going to the Pack Office?

Grayson’s long arm went around my waist so naturally, and he leaned down to kiss my forehead. I’ll go see your brother with you.

With that, he led me towards the main entrance.

We took the private lift directly up to the 26th floor.

My brother’s intensive healing den. Even before we reached the door to his room, I could hear soft voices coming from inside.

I recognized them immediately it was Sunny and Chloe.

My steps quickened.

When Grayson and I appeared in the doorway, what I saw was an incredibly heartwarming scene.

Sunny was sitting by the bedside, holding a bowl of nourishing bonemarrow soup. She was spooning it out, spoonful by spoonful, and then handing it to Chloe.

Chloe, you’ve worked so hard these past few days, she said gently. You look like you’ve lost weight from exhaustion. You really need to eat more to regain your strength for the next shift.

Chloe looked a little embarrassed. She glanced first at my brother, who was still emptyhanded, then, blushing, she obediently took the bowl.

Thank you, Auntie.

Oh, sweetie, there’s no need to be formal with me.

Genuine affection shone on Sunny’s face.

cross the room, on the sofa, sat an unwelcome guest.

Orion!

He was idly scrolling through his Howlnet slate, but the moment he sensed our Alphas presence at the door, he looked up.

The instant he saw Grayson and me, he shot to his feet, his own wolf bristling.

My eyes skipped right over him, fixing instead on the patient’s bed.

Miles’s complexion was much better; his wolf’s vitality was clearly returning. He gave me a warm smile and a wave. Isabella’s here.

I greeted him first, my voice flat, before finally turning my icy gaze on Orion.

What are you doing here?

My tone was sharp, an undisguised Alpha order for him to leave.

Orion, however, was clearly used to my coldness. Not a flicker of embarrassment crossed his face.

He spread his hands wide, gesturing vaguely in Sunny’s direction.

I came with Aunt Grant. I’ll leave once my father gets here.

My mind immediately went to the unspoken truth: he had to ensure Aunt Grant’s safety until his father, Victor, arrived to take over the guard.
