Five Years of Marriage to Mr. Bradford (by Koi Fish) novel Chapter 335

Chapter 335

Gabriel shook his wine, suppressing a laugh.

Rebecca realized she still had a lot to learn. This was her first time witnessing such a scene.

“If she knew Mr. Rossi Jr., I’d be the queen,” Isabelle scoffed.

“Your Highness,” Rebecca said smoothly.

Isabelle burst out laughing, but Sonia looked worried. “She’s being too ostentatious. Won’t that hurt the company? Hope this won’t ruin the collaboration.”

Isabelle shrugged. “If it fell through because of her, she’d be held accountable. Everything has a cause and effect. It’s their fault for coddling her too much.”

The four of them watched as Catherine continued her performance with even more vigor.

“Oh my gosh! We had no idea of these stories behind this. Girl, you’re incredible! You’re the lucky star of Bradford Tech!”

“Right? We thought this would be a straightforward partnership. We didn’t know you played such a

crucial role.”

Catherine basked in their flattery, putting on a façade of modesty. “What can I say? You all know how much Vance has struggled to keep this company afloat. It’s truly hard, but his wife is…”

She glanced at Rebecca and lowered her voice to a whisper. Rebecca couldn’t hear it, but it couldn’t be anything good.

The group sighed collectively in response.

“Oh, you work so hard yet get no credit. It’s really tough.”

“And some even call you a homewrecker. That’s so unfair.”

Catherine shook her head with a bitter smile. “What can I do? Vance and I met when we were both

struggling. Even if the whole world criticizes me, I’ll still do it. I don’t care what others say; I just want him

to be well.”

“You’re remarkable!”

“Absolutely! He’s so lucky to have you.”

Isabelle fumed, turning to Rebecca. “Are you just letting them slander you like that?”

Rebecca shook her head. “No rush.”

They’d soon find out whether this was really a blessing for Vance or not.

“By the way, what is Mr. Rossi Jr, like?” one of the ladies asked. “We’ve been hearing so many legends

about him.”

“Well…” Catherine hesitated for a moment before diving in. “He’s incredibly handsome. No doubt about it. He has this typical noble aura. Whenever he walks into a room, you can feel his unique presence, like a European royal prince. Not even a prince has features as sculpted, let alone that tall stature and noble demeanor. And you know, his hair is thick and beautiful.”

The ladies burst into laughter, and someone exclaimed, “If I meet him, I might just faint!”

“You definitely would!” Catherine continued. “Back at our school, screams followed him everywhere. So many girls fell for him, but he never paid attention to them. He was aloof.”

“Oh my gosh! I can’t control my racing heart! How much longer until he shows up? The banquet should be starting soon, right?”

“Oh, please, introduce me to him! I just need to add him on WhatsApp; I promise I won’t bother him. Just seeing his profile picture every day would be enough.”

“Uh… You know how cold he is; he doesn’t just add people on social or even talk to anyone casually.”
