Chapter 382

“That’s Tomas’s son,” Sonia explained. “By the way, how did you guys find this place?”

It didn’t seem like something Isabelle would have recommended.

“It was my cousin,” Rebecca chuckled, glancing at Gabriel. “He claims he has great taste and doesn’t like any of the big brands, so he insisted on checking out smaller places one by one.”

“Then you came to the right spot,” Sonia laughed. “Tomas puts his heart and soul into making tea. He’s honest and sincere. Once you taste it, you’ll understand. The only downside is that it doesn’t have a big name. Traditional handmade tea like this isn’t heavily marketed, so not many people know about it.”

It felt like everyone was showing up at once. Three people stepped out of the car: Isabelle, Lucas, and

Vance.

Rebecca was just as shocked to run into Vance in this remote place.

Lucas stared with his mouth open. “Uh… Izzy, tell me this isn’t a coincidence.”

It was exactly a coincidence.

If Isabelle had known she would run into so many people today, she would never have brought Lucas to Tomas’s tea plantation, and she definitely wouldn’t have let him drag Vance along.

She had gone to the company to pick up Lucas because she wanted to visit her grandma and check on how Sonia was doing at the plantation.

Lucas had insisted on bringing Vance along, saying the latter had been in a bad mood and needed a change of scenery.

She had wanted to say that Vance deserved it, but in the end, she had brought him anyway. As long as it

wasn’t Aiden, it was fine.

Aiden still had no idea Sonia was working there.

“Rebecca, I really didn’t know,” Isabelle apologized, looking embarrassed.

Rebecca shook her head. “It’s okay. We’re just here to buy tea. Your uncle is getting us good stuff.”

One person, however, stood frozen in place, his eyes fixed on Rebecca. From the moment he stepped out of the car, she hadn’t looked at him once.

The sunflower that used to revolve around him had stopped turning in his direction.

Because Tomas wasn’t comfortable with socializing, it was Corey who eventually brought out the tea.

The guy had no idea about the complicated relationships between these guests. He only knew they all

seemed to know one another, so he warmly invited everyone to sit together and taste the tea.

Lucas felt like he was dreaming. He never would have imagined this group would end up sitting at the

same table.

He quietly slid into the seat next to Gabriel and offered a polite smile.

The company wasn’t in a good situation. With Vance checked out and Aiden distracted, he felt he had to do something as one of the three founding members.

“Mr. Rossi, what kind of tea do you usually drink?” he asked, trying to build rapport.

“I don’t know much about tea. I drink coffee more often,” Gabriel replied honestly.

Rebecca was speechless. Just earlier, he had boasted about his good taste in tea.

“Our plantation mainly produces green tea,” Lucas explained. “My cousin just brought out several batches of the finest. Would you like to try them?”

He brewed the tea with practiced, elegant movements.

Gabriel watched with amusement. “You seem to know more about tea than about your company

business.”
