Chapter 555
Margaret even requested to modify some tnoves in the already polished piece.
At first, Rebecca listened seriously, hoping the production could keep improving. But she soon realized Margaret wasn’t offering genuine suggestions but simply finding faults.
Rebecca could spend an entire day or night considering one suggestion, yet Margaret would throw out five or six in a single day. Before she could digest the first, more kept coming.
Gradually, other dancers came to Rebecca with complaints. Margaret mocked others for dancing poorly and deliberately bumped into people during practice.

Margaret wasn’t even 20 yet. Her frame was tall, her skin tight. She flaunted her youth and superiority right in front of Rebecca.
Rebecca’s eyes narrowed. “So, what’s your aim of joining the troupe?”
“Didn’t I just tell you? I came to see the famous Swallow, but I’m disappointed.”
“Care to specify your disappointments, aside from the personal attacks?”
“Calling things as they are counts as a personal attack now? Aren’t those dancers dumb? Aren’t you an old hen? You’re too old to play a deer. Does that clumsy body of yours even have a deer’s lightness?”
Margaret performed right there a leaping movement of the nine–colored deer. It was light and beautiful
