Only later did Reber ca learn she had slept for three full months. That was even longer than the time she had spent inside the dreain
At first, her family had rushed her to the hospital in a panic. A month of tests revealed nothing abnormal, and she required no life support, so they brought her home.
But she had remained on a nutrient drip. Kaitlyn, Josette, and a private nurse had taken turns massaging her limbs and turning her to prevent bedsores.
Aside from being unconscious, she had been perfectly healthy, simply sleeping peacefully for months.
She had even become something of a legend at the hospital. The nurses called her “Sleeping Beauty.” Wfren she returned for follow–up exams, word spread instantly: “The Sleeping Beauty woke up!”
After the tests confirmed everything was normal, a nurse congratulated her and asked with a grin, “So, did a prince kiss you awake?”
Rebecca could only laugh helplessly. There had been a boy in her dream, but he was no fairy–tale prince.
Her family had kept her phone charged. In three months, countless messages had piled up.
The dance troupe had sent the most at first. Later, after Gabriel or Kaitlyn explained the situation, Heather sent one message: [ Coach, don’t worry. I’ve got the troupe covered. We’ll be ready when you wake up!]
After that, nothing more came directly to her. Her first call was naturally to the dance troupe.
Heather’s joy was audible when she answered. She gave a full report on everything that had happened in the past few months.
All the performance plans Rebecca had made before falling asleep had gone ahead smoothly. Heather was already working on new projects and had accepted an invitation to Ireland for an exchange performance next week.
Rebecca had maintained strong ties with Irish dance circles ever since her first trip there with her mentor. They exchanged performances at least once a year, sometimes more.
She could go with them. But the moment she mentioned Ireland, Kaitlyn and Gabriel both groaned.
Jessica was a female bodyguard assigned by Gabriel. She followed Rebecca 24/7.
