Sienna’s POV
Today’s morning was very warm. Like always, I got up first, switched on the soft kitchen lights, and started making breakfast, The aroma of toasted bread and eggs began to permeate the space, creating a subtle feeling of tranquility.
I remained fixated on the pan as gentle footsteps entered the kitchen, yet I didn’t look back. The eggs in the bowl had to be whisked right away to achieve the proper texture. The dawn was quiet, resonating solely with the soft buzz of the ventilation fan and the sound of my spatula striking the bowl.
The heat from the stove made my cheeks feel snug, and the aroma of brewed coffee from the machine wafted through the room. I expected a typical morning, tranquil, uncomplicated, serene.
Until an event occurred.
Suddenly, two gentle arms encircled my waist from behind.
The motion was gentle and gradual, as though the individual behind me was careful not to surprise me. Yet my body remained tight for just a moment before giving in to the sensation, one that was both familiar and something I hadn’t experienced intimately in quite some time.
A sudden warmth enveloped my chest. My breath caught slightly.
I didn’t have to look back to recognize who it was.
That hug that captured the aroma as he gently rested his chin on my shoulder. Everything was owned by a single individual.
Liam.He simply kept me firm, cozy, as if he had awakened with an emotion. he wasn’t prepared to release just yet.
His embrace didn’t seek a response. It wasn’t a hug that asked anything of me.
Simply a hug from someone whe appreciated my presence when he opened his eyes today.
I remained silent, allowing my body to adapt to that heat. Liam’s breath caressed the surface of my neck, warm and profound. There was a tranquility in the way he embraced me, as though he had at last discovered a place to return to after wandering for ages.
I shut my eyes briefly.
Hiş fingers brushed against my waist, tender, nearly automatic. Like he had to confirm my existence. As if he was afraid that by releasing his grip, everything would vanish.
Unbeknownst to me, my lips turned up into a slight smile I didn’t even notice happening.
“Morning,” Liam’s voice was hoarse from slumber, yet very gentle.
I grinned and tilted my head a bit. Liam leaned closer and gave me a quick kiss on the lips. A quick morning kiss, yet just right to leave me blushing-
“I’m quite joyful,” he stated softly, his tone so genuine I could sense it in my heart.
Just before I could respond, little footsteps resonated along the corridor.
“Mommy! Daddy! Embrace me as well!” Noah surged toward us as if he were catapulting, slipping between our arms. visit j,ob_ni_b(.)c -om for more interesting stories.Liam chuckled gently, embracing Noah with one arm while wrapping the other around my waist. I smiled as I gently patted Noah’s head.
That morning seemed like a small present from the universe.
Noah remained squeezed between us, his head leaning against my belly. The boy stretched his.arms, his unkempt hair sticking up in all directions like a small lion awakening.
Liam gave him a strawberry, then placed another in his own mouth.
“Hey,” I feigned a sulk, “you both are dining before everyone else, right?”
Noah smiled with pride. “We are taste testers!”
“Observe?” Liam remarked, “This is a significant task. We sample it initially to ensure Mommy feels secure.”
I chuckled softly, shook my head, and faced the stove again. The sound of eggs frying, the aroma of fresh toast from the toaster, and Noah’s Lively recounting of his dream came together to create a morning that felt complete.
“Mommy,” Noah said gently, turning his bar stool in my direction. “In Noah’s dream, you both were present.”
“Is that so? Which dream? | inquired, lowering the temperature.
“Noah imagined that the three of us resided in a large house with a garden, where we played ball daily.” He lifted his small hands with enthusiasm. “And Daddy raised Noah really high!”
I smiled softly. “That’s a lovely dream, don’t you think?”
Noah responded with a swift nod.
