From time to time, I jotted down small notes: color tones, font types, background textures. The quiet morning helped me focus, and for the first time since Liam told me he’d be traveling out of town, I felt a little calmer.
After about twenty minutes, I had gathered several solid references to send later. I leaned back in my chair, gently brushing the hair away from my forehead.
