Tracy thought of something and said, “You can’t have your cake and eat it too. There’s no way Maggie can keep stringing both Franklin and Johnny along forever, right? She’s got to choose between them eventually, If she keeps leading Franklin on just to mess with your relationship and won’t marry Johnny, she could end up mishandling the whole thing and lose them both.”
“So she’s definitely not going to drag out the divorce forever. We don’t need to rush.”
Sophia’s eyes lit up. “Exactly! Sure, right now it looks like both my brother–in–law and Johnny are totally into her, but who knows? Maybe one day they’ll just get sick of her and move on.”
That was definitely possible.
But hard to say for sure.
What if Franklin was the one who didn’t want to let go?
All these scenarios Sophia and the others were running through assumed Maggie and Johnny were actually a couple.
But Julia knew better. What Maggie and Johnny had wasn’t love.
So if Franklin didn’t want the divorce, and Maggie hadn’t fallen for anyone else, there was a real chance Franklin and Maggie could get back together.
After that, Tracy and the others chatted a bit more, basically saying that no matter what, Julia still had a shot with Franklin.
After all, Franklin hadn’t broken up with her.
What if one day Franklin suddenly came to his senses and realized she was better, more right for him?
When it came to Franklin, she absolutely couldn’t give up.
Julia felt the same way.
Franklin… she couldn’t let him go that easily.
With that thought, she got in her car and called him.
The call went through, but no one picked up.
And whether he hadn’t seen her call or just didn’t want to respond, by evening Franklin still hadn’t contacted her.
Julia glanced at her silent phone, thought for a moment, then called Isabella instead.
Isabella saw her call and answered quickly, sounding happy. “Aunt Julia!”
Julia smiled. “Isabella, are you on break? What have you been up to lately?”
“Yeah, just started break. Not much really. Dad and everyone are busy, so nobody’s around to hang out.”
Julia said, “Want to go somewhere tomorrow? I could take you out.”
Isabella sounded thrilled. “Really? Don’t you have to work?”
“I’m not busy right now, I’ve got time. So why don’t you think about where you’d like to go tomorrow and let me know?”

Chapter 553
Isabella said, “Okay!”
Before hanging up, Julia added, “Make sure you tell your dad about us going out tomorrow, okay?”
“Okay, I will.”
After hanging up, Isabella had the housekeeper help her plan tomorrow’s outing.
That evening, when Franklin got home, she told him about going out with Julia tomorrow.
