Chapter 562
Isabella naturally took after Franklin.
But besides Franklin, she seemed to have traces of someone else in her features.
Franklin said, “Mr. Hardin, please, have a seat.”
This wasn’t the first time Rex had felt Isabella looked familiar, but he could never figure out who she resembled…
He looked away and sat down on the couch.
They quickly launched into business talk.
During the discussion, Franklin was focused and professional, his smile composed and appropriate, as if he didn’t care one bit that Rex had discovered what was going on between him and Maggie.
Isabella was scrolling through videos and must have seen something interesting, because halfway through Franklin’s business discussion, she told him she wanted to go out and have some fun.
Franklin didn’t stop her. “Go a

“Got it.”
Around noon, when Franklin and Rex had pretty much wrapped up their discussion, Jake walked over and whispered something in Franklin’s ear. and Rex there too.
They knew Franklin was joining them for lunch since Mr. Claremont from Wilson Group had mentioned it.
They were just surprised Rex was there too.
Franklin politely approached them and proactively shook hands with Johnny. “I’m really grateful you came personally to handle the project, Mr. Gray. It’s too much trouble for you.”
Johnny said, “…”
“You’re too kind, Mr. Wilson. It’s what I should be doing.”
Franklin also gave Maggie a polite nod.
Standing to the side watching Franklin act so courteous toward Johnny, thinking about what was going on between him and Maggie, Rex hadn’t even processed it when he saw Johnny purse his lips and give him a bland, sidelong glance.
Rex thought, “..
For a moment, he felt like he’d been provoked into laughter.

His gaze turned cold as he looked away.
After the group exchanged pleasantries, they headed to the restaurant.
Once they arrived and were seated, after another round of small talk, they started chatting about this and that.
Maggie mostly stayed silent.
