Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time (by Zora Pradeep) novel Chapter 592

Maggie’s car was still sitting at the restaurant from the night before, so after breakfast she got into Franklin’s car and rode along as they dropped Isabella off at

school.

After watching Isabella disappear through the school doors, Franklin looked over at Maggle, Want me to drop you at the office?

It’s fine, I’ll grab a cab,she said evenly.

ranklin nodded, not pushing it. Be safe.

With that, he gave her a brief nod goodbye, got back in the car without looking back, and headed to Wilson Group.

He spent the rest of the morning at the office working through things. Around noon he had a lunch to get to, and he headed downstairs with Chad and the thers. But the moment they stepped out into the groundfloor parking lot, they stopped.

ulia was waiting right there by the entrance.

30th Franklin and Chad came to a halt.

had knew better than most that things between Franklin and Julia had gotten pretty strained lately. He also knew she’d stopped by Wilson Group a few times recently without ever getting to see Franklin.

she’d gone quiet for nearly two weeks after that. And now, out of nowhere, here she was.

had glanced over at Franklin.

ulia walked toward Franklin with a smile. Hope I’m not interrupting.

Franklin: Not at all.

ulia smiled and followed him into the car.

Chad watched the two of them settle into the backseat and let out a quiet breath of relief.

Whatever was going on between them, he thought, Franklin clearly still had feelings for Julia.

The privacy partition in the back slowly rose, cutting off Chad and the driver’s view.

As the car eased into traffic, Julia looked at Franklin. It’s been a while since we actually sat down for a proper meal together. I just wanted to see you.

Franklin gave a low mmand asked, How’s the company doing these days?

fearing him bring it up on his own made her feel noticeably lighter. She relaxed into the conversation and filled him in.

The restaurant wasn’t far. A little over ten minutes later, they arrived.

Franklin had brought Julia to plenty of work dinners before, so when the other executives and business partners saw her walk in with him today, nobody batted an eye. It was a casual gettogether, nothing heavy on the agenda.

Franklin had a meeting to get back for in the early afternoon, so once lunch wrapped up he was ready to head out, even as the others lingered.

They were walking through the ground floor of the restaurant when Julia’s face suddenly changed. She shoved Franklin hard. Watch out!

Franklin’s instincts kicked in at the same moment, and he threw his arm out to push Julia back.

Then came a loud crash. An air conditioning unit had dropped from above, shattering as it hit the ground.

Because of Julia, Franklin walked away without a scratch. He’d managed to push her too, but not enough. Her shoulder took the full brunt of the impact, and she went down hard, hitting the ground and losing consciousness.

Miss Brown!Chad cried out.
