hnny caught her expression and grinned. “Touched?”
..Not exactly.”
just brought back some old memories, that was all.
Without thinking, she reached for the cup and took a sip.
Then Glen had set it down earlier, the smell alone had told her it was going to be good. Tasting it was something else. Better than she’d expected

e studied her face. She wasn’t putting on a front. “What happened exactly?”
he gave him the short version.
hnny already knew Franklin had taken Julia to meet Felix and Stella.

The orld’s not fair sometimes, that’s just the truth of it. But your grandma’s right too. Staying married to Franklin and grinding it out isn’t doing you any good ther. As for the Browns and the Greens… karma has a long memory. I have to believe they’ll get what’s coming to them eventually”
