“You have no right storming into my home, Alpha Eldric.” he said, his voice low but edged with steel. “And yes, there’s a reason haven’t responded.

Eldric’s wolf stirred instantly, hackles rising beneath his skin as gold flickered in his eyes.

“I’ve made my decision,” Jude said. “I will not help you. Not you, and not your son. Whatever debt I carry… it belongs to Jax Stillward and to Cora. Not to Ironcrest. Not to you.”

The air tightened.
