Besides this, Atticus couldn’t think of any other explanation, so he
could only convince himself not to overthink it.
Sophia leaned toward the simpler explanation.
Isabella was just a young girl who had saved her; it was perfectly
normal for William to invite her to eat.
William must have handed Isabella the utensils because her hand was
injured, and he was worried it would be inconvenient for her. After
all, the bandage on her wrist was obvious to anyone
As for asking Isabella not to use his formal title, it must be because
the formal title was too business–like, and William felt it wasn’t
appropriate for someone who had done his sister a favor to to address
him formally
Thinking it through, Sophia felt there was nothing unusual about it,
and picked up her spoon to sip the soup in her bowl.
“Beef.” William placed a small piece of beef in Isabella’s bowl.
“Thank you.”

Chapter 21
Isabella ate the beef, thinking to herself how William’s personality
was so different from her past life.
Not only did he actively invite her to eat, he was even serving her
food…
“Shrimp.” William placed a piece of shrimp in her bowl.
“Thank you.”
“Fish.”
“Thank you.”
“Roasted chicken.”
“Thank you.”
“Eat more vegetables too.”
Isabella: “…”
Atticus glanced at Sophia and winked at her repeatedly, as if asking,
“Is your brother really acting normal?”

Chapter 21
Sophia narrowed her eyes, quietly observing the two of them. She had
some doubts in her heart, but wasn’t sure.
Isabella had accidentally given her breakfast bread to Tobias this
morning, and she was indeed hungry now.
She ate a lot, wolfing down the food without caring about her image.
However, William’s eyes seemed glued to her.
Even without looking, she could feel William’s gaze on her like
shackles. She was certain that throughout the entire meal, she was
being watched closely by William.
So when it was over, Isabella immediately put down her chopsticks
like she was relieved of a heavy burden. “I’m full.”
“William, it’s getting late. I’ll head back now.”
Isabella couldn’t wait to escape this place.
Suddenly, William beside her took her hand.
“Wait.”
Isabella’s body stiffened.

Chapter 21
Her heart stopped, her mind went blank for a moment.
The scorching warmth from William’s palm transmitted sensitively
through her skin to her fingertips;a warmth Isabella had never felt
before.
Warmth?
Had she gone crazy?
To actually feel that William gave her a sense of warmth?
William held her hand, stopping her from getting up, his well–defined
hand reaching toward her cheek.
Isabella’s expression tensed, her whole body going rigid.
In her nervousness, she could almost hear her own breathing, she
saw William gently wipe away a grain of rice from the corner of her
mouth with his thumb, and then his gaze didn’t immediately move
