Chapter 32
This bitch.
Why did she have to come back?
Isabella looked directly at Joseph. “You’re here to apply for the
tutoring position? I have some test papers here. Please answer them
first.”
Joseph had been ready to take her on as a student, but when he heard
this, he froze completely.
“What… what?”
A test?
Olivia’s facial muscles twitched as she turned to Isabella in disbelief.
“What are you doing?”
This was Joseph!
Everyone had only heard of Joseph testing students; no student had
ever dared to test him.

“What do you mean what am I doing?” Isabella glanced at Olivia, a
trace of impatience flashing through her bright eyes. “If I don’t test
him, how will I know whether he’s qualified to be my tutor?”
It wasn’t as if she would accept just anyone who showed up to tutor
her.
Since Olivia insisted that she get tutoring, she naturally needed to
choose someone who could genuinely help her.
Although the town had limited educational resources, her knowledge
had never been lacking, because most subjects people began study 3
in high school had been taught to her by her master on the mountain
before she was even seven.
From what she remembered, her master had been extremely capable
-knowledgeable about everything from astronomy to geography.
She had a good memory and learned quickly–she was certainly not a
poor student.
As for her previous exam score was 300 points, she assumed it was
because she had neither attended classes nor taken the exams, so the
teachers had simply entered a random score.
The middle school she attended was one her master had arranged for

her to be enrolled in, solely so she could take the SAT. Strictly
speaking, she had never truly studied at that school.
Olivia’s face darkened as she watched Isabella act so self–righteous
and confident. “What nonsense are you pulling? This is Mr. Miller!”
“So what if he’s Mr. Miller?” Isabella smirked dismissively. “He still
has to pass my test.”
Isabella even gave Joseph a slow, appraising look.
Judging by his appearance, he seemed decent–probably not like
Matthew; at the very least, his character should be acceptable.
“You…” Olivia was on the verge of exploding with anger.
How could she have given birth to such an idiot!
Joseph glanced at the test papers Isabella had handed him, his
expression darkening slightly.
Bianca keenly noticed the change in Joseph’s expression, and a gleeful smile flashed in her eyes.
She was being so rude and presumptuous in front of Joseph.

This tutoring arrangement was definitely going to be ruined by that
idiot Isabella.
“Wait a moment, I need to make a phone call first.”
With that, Joseph turned and walked away quickly.
“Isabella, are you stupid?” Gabriel couldn’t hold back anymore. “Does
Mr. Miller need you to test him?”
He had never seen anyone so foolish.
So many people had begged just to meet Joseph and failed, yet now
that he had come in person, Isabella had actually angered him
enough to leave.
“Bianca, what’s wrong with this Isabella in your family? Is something
wrong with her head?”
“What kind of person is she, daring to act so high and mighty toward
Mr. Miller?”
“Who does she think she is?”
“If you ask me, once Mr. Miller finishes that phone call, he definitely won’t agree to teach her. How could he possibly tolerate this?”

“William!” Mr. Miller lowered his voice, speaking into the phone
through gritted teeth. “You didn’t tell me I’d have to take a test when
I came here!”
In the Brown Group’s office, William listened to Joseph’s agitated
voice on the phone, but his expression remained calm. “What test?”
and very
“It’s that girl of yours. She brought over some test papers
seriously told me that I have to pass them before I can be her
teacher!”
This completely caught him off guard.
William couldn’t help but let out a low chuckle.
“Wait, you…” Joseph was very annoyed. “What are you laughing at?”
William loosened his tie, his eyes filled with tenderness. “Cute.”
