Chapter 35
In Olivia’s eyes, Bianca was her perfect daughter, while she was just
an outsider.
She was the real daughter of the Taylor Family, and Bianca was the
one who had stolen her place.
Yet everyone favored Bianca.
Making her seem like the evil supporting character in a novel.
When she wanted her old room back, they saw it as stealing. When she found herself a tutor, they also saw it as if she was taking
something from Bianca.
Isabella was used to all this by now, so, she let out a cold laugh.
“Well, I wish you two a wonderful mother–daughter bond.”
With that, she went straight upstairs without sparing Olivia a second
glance.
Isabella’s cold laugh felt like an invisible slap across Olivia’s face.

“You,” she stammered.
A sudden sharp heat flared in Olivia’s chest, the pressure so intense it
stole her breath.
A wonderful mother–daughter bond.
Was Isabella mocking her?
Is this how a daughter should talk to her mother?
“Mom, please don’t get upset, it’s bad for your health.” Bianca came
downstairs just in time to see this scene and quickly came over to
comfort her. “Isabella is just going through teenage rebellion. She’ll
be fine once she gets past this phase.”
“Teenage rebellion?” Olivia laughed bitterly at those words. “Except
for pretending to be good for a few days when she first returned,
when has she ever listened to me? Now she only speaks to me with
cold sarcasm. Does she not want to acknowledge me as her mother
anymore?”
“No way, Mom. How could Isabella not acknowledge you as her
mother? Isabella is probably still still upset about about the wrongful
accusation. Once she calms down, everything will be fine.”

Olivia looked at the understanding Bianca before her with relief.
Even someone who wasn’t her biological daughter was more caring
than her real daughter!
She felt even more sorry for Bianca. “Bianca, about the tutor
situation, Mom let you down by not being able to get Joseph for you. I
failed you.”
“Mom, it’s okay. Mr. Miller teaching Isabella is just the same.”
Not long after Isabella returned to her room, Cleo informed her that
Olivia planned to take her and Bianca to Abigail’s sister Indigo
Rodriguez’s birthday party that evening.
Isabella looked at the evening gown laid out on her bed, casually
touching her chin.
Just then, her phone rang again.
The sound was particularly jarring in the quiet room.
Isabella’s first instinct was that the call was from William.

She glanced at her phone. Sure enough.
It was indeed William again.
Isabella found it strange–why was William in this life acting like a
persistent ghost, constantly bothering her?
In her Past life, she could count on one hand the number of times she
had met William, and they barely spoke each time.
Isabella could only attribute this to the butterfly effect of her rebirth.
She didn’t dare make him wait and quickly answered the phone, her voice noticeably weaker as if facing a formidable enemy. “Hello,
William.”
“What’s wrong?” William on the other end frowned keenly. “Are you
