Seeing no one dared to speak up, Indigo smiled with satisfaction, raised her chin, and looked down at Isabella. “See? No one saw Abigail bump into you, which means you bumped into our Abigail…”

“I saw it.”

A calm and unhurried voice came from the crowd.

“I saw it. It was Abigail who bumped into Isabella.”

Indigo froze and looked toward the crowd.

A man stood there.

The man’s lips were pressed together, his deep eyes carrying a cold severity. His skin was very fair, but he didn’t look weak at all. Broad shoulders, narrow waist, wearing a jet–black suit that made him look noble and profound.

“Who are you?” Indigo looked at the man in surprise.

He actually dared to stand up and speak for this bitch.

Chapter 41 •

Abigail’s face darkened as people talked over each other. She bit her

lip, not knowing how to defend herself. “Sis, I just…”

How could Indigo not understand her? Seeing her like this, she knew Abigail had actually wrongly accused someone. Her face immediately

darkened. “Abigail!”

“Do you know how much trouble you just caused?!”

She hadn’t expected to be used like that. Angry and brokenhearted,

Indigo stormed off, not wanting to look at Abigail anymore.

Abigail was too angry to speak. She could only glare at Isabella through gritted teeth.

This was all her fault!

If it weren’t for trying to teach that bitch Isabella a lesson, she never

would have caused such an embarrassing scene.

“Mr. Brown, did you really see it?”

David couldn’t contain his curiosity as he drove. He glanced at William, whose figure was hidden in the corner of the back seat.

Hearing this, William looked up slightly, confused. “See what?”

“That it really was Abigail who bumped into that girl?”

William said flatly, “Not sure.”

David didn’t understand why he said ‘not sure.‘

“Didn’t you say you saw…”

“Didn’t see it.” William’s tone carried a hint of impatience.

David was speechless, wondering if it was appropriate that he made it all up when he really didn’t see anything.

But then David thought about it.

He was William. There was no such thing as “making stuff up” for him. Whatever he said was the truth.

Still, David didn’t understand.

William clearly stayed out of everything except work and didn’t care

about anyone unrelated to him. When did he start meddling in other people’s business?

The huge living room instantly fell silent.

Indigo couldn’t believe it. Her head turned to the side, her whole body

frozen.

Only after Ryder had struck her in anger did he realize that today was Indigo’s birthday party. A flash of reluctance crossed his eyes.

But looking at William’s cold demeanor, he had no choice but to keep

a stern face.

“It’s just a crystal crown. If it’s broken, it’s broken. But you, as the Rodriguez Family’s daughter, treating guests so poorly–you should apologize to these two guests immediately.”
