**Chapter 415 Tyrone’s Anger**

Tyrone felt as though a dam had burst within him, the flood of his pent-up rage finally pouring forth. “They don’t deserve anything, but you do?!” The words erupted from his mouth, a raw expression of his frustration, and the atmosphere in the living room shifted instantly.

A heavy silence enveloped the space, thick and palpable, as if the air itself held its breath in response to his outburst.

Then came the sound of flesh meeting flesh—Smack! Ralph, his face a mask of humiliation and fury, struck Tyrone hard across the cheek. The force of the blow sent Tyrone’s head snapping to the side, leaving a vivid imprint of red fingers on his pale skin, a small bead of blood forming at the corner of his lip.

“You ungrateful brat!” Ralph’s voice was a thunderous roar, filled with indignation. “Everything I do is for your own good! And you dare defend some outsider instead of me?!”

Virginia, who had been watching the scene unfold with a mixture of dread and determination, shot a quick glance at Edwin. Without a moment’s hesitation, she stepped forward, positioning herself between Ralph and Tyrone, a protective barrier against the storm of her husband’s wrath.

Tyrone, slowly regaining his composure, straightened his posture. He fixed his gaze on Ralph, a bitter laugh escaping his lips, sharp and derisive.

“For my own good?” he echoed, the words dripping with sarcasm. He had heard that tired refrain all his life, and he was utterly exhausted by it.

With an icy glare, he pointed a finger at Ralph, his voice steady but laced with venom. “The Reids may have gone bankrupt, but at least they care. They treat me like one of their own! Not like you—cold, cruel, always on guard against your own son, always scheming to control me!”

Ralph’s hands trembled, his anger palpable. “You—!” he began, but Tyrone was relentless, each word a dagger aimed straight for Ralph’s heart.

“You cheated! You kept a secret child outside and even shared property with him. Was that also for my good?” Tyrone’s voice rose, each accusation a testament to the years of resentment that had built up inside him.

He continued, “You never treated my mother with respect. Was that for my good too?”

The words hung in the air, heavy and charged. “Because of you, this house has felt like a battlefield since I was a child. There was never any real warmth. And you still pretend that you did all of that for me?”

Ralph stood frozen, rendered speechless by the onslaught of his son’s words.

Tyrone delivered his final blow with a chilling calmness. “I was only born to uphold the Winters’ power. To you and Grandpa, I was nothing but a tool to be used. You never treated me like family—not once.”

Ralph remained rooted to the spot, his face darkening as he struggled to catch his breath, the weight of Tyrone’s revelations pressing down on him.

After a tense moment, Ralph finally erupted, his voice a mixture of disbelief and anger. “Tell me! Who put these lies in your head?!”

Virginia stared at Ralph, momentarily at a loss for words. How could her husband be so blind to the pain their son had endured?

Finally, she found her voice, steady and firm. “He’s not a child anymore. He’s 27!” she asserted, her tone leaving no room for argument. “Everything he said came from his heart. And in a moment like this, you still want to blame someone else? Weren’t you the ones who raised Tyrone to become exactly like this?”

Ralph shot back, indignation flaring in his eyes. “Did you see the way he talked to me?”

Virginia replied, her voice unwavering. “Respect must be mutual. Even if you’re his father, you can’t control every aspect of his life.”

Ralph, refusing to relent, insisted, “He’s our family heir, a man who should stand tall. What’s wrong with me asking him to face reality?”

Exhausted, Virginia sank onto the couch, the weight of the situation pressing down on her. This wasn’t reality; it was heartless.

Her greatest fear gnawed at her—what if Ralph’s behavior became the model for how Tyrone approached his own future relationships?

Ralph continued, his voice rising in frustration, “If he’s got the guts, he should never come home. He’s not the only heir. The Winter Group will thrive just fine without him!”

Before he could finish, Virginia’s glass slipped from her hand, shattering on the floor, the sound echoing through the silence like a gunshot.

The room fell into an oppressive stillness.

With a deliberate slowness, Virginia rose to her feet. She looked at Edwin, then pointed a finger at Ralph, her voice cutting through the tension like a knife.

“Listen carefully. For years, my family and your family have weathered storms together. Everything the Winters possess now—I helped build it.”

She continued, her tone unwavering, “I’ve tolerated you for the sake of our children. Don’t delude yourself. I’m not afraid of you.”

Stepping closer to Ralph, she locked eyes with him, her voice firm and clear. “Ralph, if you even attempt to take a single cent that belongs to me and the kids, I will ensure you regret it!”
