From Discarded Wife to Queen (Tyrone) novel Chapter 428

**TITLE: Obsidian Dawn 428**
**CONTENT: 428 Can We Talk?**

The more Edwin and Ralph attempted to exert control over him, the more resolute he became in resisting their influence. It was as if their efforts to rein him in only fueled his determination to break free.

In that pivotal moment when he truly comprehended the depth of his loss—Aella slipping away from him—he finally awakened to the tumult of emotions he harbored for her. It was a revelation that cut through the fog of his denial like a knife, sharp and undeniable.

Edwin and Ralph, for all their attempts to guide him, only grasped the significance of his presence in their lives after he had distanced himself from them. It was a harsh truth that echoed in the silence of their shared moments, now tinged with regret.

But the lessons learned too late held no value. In this lifetime, he resolved not only to transform himself but to uplift his entire family as well. He envisioned a world where everyone he cared for could thrive and find happiness, free from the burdens that had previously weighed them down.

Meanwhile, at Vleka International Airport, Kayla seized the suitcase from Aella’s grasp, her playful demeanor lighting up the atmosphere. “You know,” she teased, a grin spreading across her face, “having a bunch of powerful ‘big brothers’ isn’t so terrible. I mean, it’s definitely better than having enemies lurking around, right?”

Aella’s expression shifted to one of guilt. “I can’t believe you extended your stay just for me, and here I am, not even managing to take proper care of you,” she replied, her voice laced with remorse.

Kayla waved her off, her mind clearly elsewhere, consumed by the latest gossip. “Aella, about that woman who was on the lookout for Mr. Tyrone at the birthday bash? She’s not as innocent as she seems. You need to keep your guard up around her,” she warned, her tone serious.

Aella nodded earnestly, determination flickering in her eyes. “Don’t worry. I’ll steer clear of her. I won’t let her get too close,” she assured her friend, a newfound resolve settling within her.

Zera’s ambition loomed large, but her methods were undeniably lacking. Every scar she bore was a testament to her tumultuous relationship with Tyrone; no one else had inflicted such wounds upon her.

In both her past life and this one, Aella had faced the repercussions of Zera’s relentless pursuit of power.

As the clock struck two in the afternoon, Daniel appeared, a small bag of homemade fruit candy in hand. “I brought you a little something,” he said, a warm smile gracing his lips.

After sending Kayla on her way, Aella turned her focus back to the hospital, her mind swirling with thoughts of Zera and the challenges that lay ahead.

Daniel handed her the cute cartoon gift bag, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “Aurelia made some of these. I hope you like them.”

“Thank you!” Aella exclaimed, her excitement bubbling over. She reached into the bag, plucking a piece of candy and popping it into her mouth. “This is really delicious!” she said, her eyes lighting up with delight.

Daniel chuckled, unable to contain his amusement at how adorable she looked in that moment. “I made the call to postpone your full-time offer. You’ll be heading to Tuspuyria for training next week. You probably won’t be back until the end of the year. How do you feel about that?”

Aella nodded, accepting the news without hesitation. “Yeah, I’m fine with it. I trust your judgment,” she replied, a sense of calm washing over her.

Daniel raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “You’re not even going to ask why I’m arranging it this way?”

Aella’s trust in him was absolute. “If you think this is the best course of action for me, then I’ll follow your plan without question,” she stated, a sense of gratitude swelling within her.

In her previous life, she had achieved success largely due to Daniel’s unwavering support.

That evening, just before the clock struck the end of the workday, Aella received a call from Virginia.

By seven o’clock, she found herself at a bustling restaurant downtown, the air filled with laughter and chatter.

Raine stood as Aella approached, pulling out a chair for her. “Aella,” she greeted warmly.

Aella returned Virginia’s polite nod before settling into the chair next to Raine.

He offered no words, simply allowing Zera to stand frozen before him, the weight of unspoken tension thick in the air.

The silence grew heavy, suffocating, as Zera twisted her hands together, anxiety and guilt gnawing at her.

After what felt like an eternity, Tyrone finally turned his gaze toward her.

“You said you wanted to explain,” he stated, his voice cool and steady. “So why are you silent now?”

Zera blinked, momentarily taken aback.

It had been ages since they last saw each other, and she hadn’t anticipated his demeanor to be so frosty.

Nervously glancing at Noel, she mustered the courage to ask, “Tyrone, can we talk alone?”

Tyrone’s eyes flicked briefly to Noel before he replied, “It’s fine. Just act like he’s not here.”

Noel stepped back, lowering his head in deference.

Zera stood before Tyrone, her hands clenching tightly as she fought to contain her emotions.

She had worked tirelessly to return to this country, to see him again, and she couldn’t afford to squander this opportunity.

Taking a deep breath to steady herself, she moved closer, positioning herself directly in front of him, ready to confront the past and fight for her future.
