From Discarded Wife to Queen (Tyrone) novel Chapter 431

**TITLE: Obsidian Dawn 431**
**Chapter 431 Solid Evidence**

Shirley nodded emphatically, her voice steady yet filled with urgency. “You know, when it comes to love, it’s often simpler if the woman takes the initiative. Men, on the other hand, face a much tougher battle. In Tyrone’s eyes, you are his savior. You need to approach him again. The futures of your two nephews hinge on your actions.”

Daphne chimed in, her tone fierce and protective. “Zera, you are his beacon of hope. And let’s not forget how his grandfather treated you—so poorly, so unjustly. If he refuses to acknowledge his responsibilities towards you, we will cause a scene at the Winter Estate and Winter Tower. They need to see how serious we are!”

With a sharp slap of her thigh, Shirley affirmed, “Daphne is absolutely right. People of wealth are deeply concerned about their public image. If he dares to disregard you, we will confront him head-on.”

Zera, feeling the weight of their words, quickly wiped away her tears, her resolve strengthening. “Tyrone won’t ignore me. I’m certain Edwin is manipulating the situation, blocking him from expressing his true feelings. Now that I’m back, I will find a way to marry him. Once I’m Mrs. Winter, everything that belongs to the Winters will be within my reach. I can provide for you both. I’ll send my two nephews to the finest schools, and I’ll buy you the most beautiful houses.”

Her two nephews, filled with excitement, clapped around her, their eyes sparkling with dreams. “Aunt Zera, you’re incredible! We’ll get to live in a big house soon!”

Shirley and Daphne exchanged gleeful glances, their faces lit up with smiles that reflected their hopes and aspirations.

Just as they were enveloped in their daydreams of wealth and luxury, a sudden, sharp knock on the door shattered the moment, bringing a chilling silence over the room.

Julian, with a furrowed brow, opened the door, revealing a group of uniformed officers who stepped inside with an air of authority.

The atmosphere shifted dramatically; the family froze, their faces draining of color as tension filled the air.

One officer stepped forward, his voice clear and commanding. “Which one of you is Ms. Zera Caldwell?”

Zera’s heart raced, thumping in her chest as panic surged through her. She took a step forward, her voice trembling. “That’s me.”

The officer continued, “We have received a report claiming that you are involved in extortion and blackmail for a substantial sum of money. Please come with us.”

Fear struck Zera like a lightning bolt, and she recoiled instinctively. “No, there must be some mistake! I haven’t done anything wrong!”

Shirley interjected, her voice filled with desperation. “Sir, my daughter has been abroad this entire time. She just returned home. How could she possibly extort anyone?”

Daphne added, her tone pleading yet firm, “Exactly! We are just ordinary people. We would never engage in any illegal activities!”

The officer remained unmoved, his expression stern. “The other party has provided solid evidence. You must accompany us, and you will find out whether you have broken the law or not.”

“I didn’t! You’re making a mistake!” Zera cried out, her voice rising in pitch. “I didn’t extort anyone! You can’t arrest me!”

Her voice trembled, a mixture of terror and guilt flickering across her face.

Why is this happening to me? I just got back home. Who is trying to destroy my life?

In a moment of sheer panic, Zera turned to Shirley, her eyes wide with fear. “Mom, please, go find Tyrone! Tell him I need him to save me!”

**Monday morning.**

Aella’s eyes widened in surprise when she spotted them. “What brings you two here?”

She playfully tugged the jacket off Brad’s head, her expression a mix of amusement and concern. “Brad, what on earth are you doing?”

Tyrone took the jacket from her hand and tossed it back to Brad with a smirk. “I heard you were leaving for a while. I wanted to see you before you took off. No time to change clothes.”

Brad managed a twisted smile, a mix of pain and humor etched across his face.

Aella chuckled softly, her laughter a soothing balm to the tension in the air.

Tyrone shot Brad a pointed glance, urging him to understand the unspoken message.

Brad, still confused, shrugged off the jacket, walking up to Aella to give her a warm hug. “Safe travels. Call me when you land, okay?”

Aella’s smile brightened, her eyes sparkling. “Thanks, Brad. I will.”

As he released her, Brad turned to Tyrone, who stepped forward, his expression unreadable.

Just as he was about to embrace Aella, she took a step back, her voice firm. “Tyrone, you should go home with Brad. I’m boarding soon.”

Tyrone lowered his gaze, locking eyes with her, a silent conversation passing between them, filled with unspoken emotions.
