From Discarded Wife to Queen (Tyrone) novel Chapter 452

**TITLE: Obsidian Dawn 452**
**Chapter 452 Do You Like Someone?**

Tyrone approached the door, his demeanor casual yet purposeful as he pulled Daniel into the room. “Mr. Hill,” he said with a warm invitation, “if it’s not an urgent matter, why not join us for a drink?”

Daniel strode directly towards Tyrone, extending his hand in a firm shake. “It’s been a while, Mr. Winter,” he remarked, his voice steady, but Aella could sense an undercurrent of something unspoken in his tone.

As the two men exchanged a knowing look, a palpable tension enveloped the space between them. Aella felt the weight of silence pressing down, her mind racing for something—anything—to break it.

Since that fateful evening, Daniel had been known to voice some rather audacious thoughts, and she couldn’t shake the worry that he might let something slip again.

Tyrone, inscrutable as ever, settled back into his seat, his expression unreadable.

Daniel shifted his gaze to Kayla, who was perched next to Aella. “Would you mind swapping seats?” he asked casually, but Aella could see the intent behind his eyes.

Kayla shot Aella a conspiratorial glance, her curiosity piqued, and quickly rose to comply.

With a gentle smile directed at Aella, Daniel said, “Come on, Dr. Reid.”

Aella hesitated, her heart racing as she glanced around the room, taking in Tyrone on her left and Daniel on her right. The urge to flee was strong, but she fought it down, forcing herself to sit back down.

She clutched her glass of juice, her head bowed slightly, acutely aware of the tension radiating from her. Tyrone, perceptive as always, reached over and took the juice from her hands. “This is cold,” he remarked, his voice low and soothing. “Let me get you something warm.”

“Thanks, Tyrone,” Aella replied, her voice polite yet distant, as if she were trying to maintain a barrier between them. Tyrone paused, his expression shifting momentarily as he considered her words.

“What game were you playing just now? Can I join?” he asked, his curiosity evident.

Daniel, having caught wind of the game, mentioned, “Truth or Dare,” and Tyrone nodded, his calm demeanor unshaken.

Brad, ever the instigator, jumped in, his enthusiasm infectious. “Everyone has to play!” he declared, rallying the room into a chorus of cheers that lifted the atmosphere once more.

Following the established rules, the first person spun the bottle, and it landed on Brad.

“Mr. Keller,” the spinner called out amidst the laughter, “between you and Raine, who made the first move?”

Brad, with a playful grin, wrapped an arm around Raine, declaring confidently, “Isn’t it obvious? Me, of course.”

Raine beamed at his boldness, appreciating how he took ownership of their story. Even though it had been her wild antics fueled by alcohol that had set the night into motion, Brad had gracefully accepted all the responsibility, preserving her dignity in front of the others.

Aella felt a pang of envy mixed with genuine happiness for them. Brad exuded an effortless charm, a carefree playboy with women often vying for his attention. He had a way with words, effortlessly navigating conversations, and despite his notorious reputation, he never crossed boundaries or made anyone feel uncomfortable.

As Brad spun the bottle again, it landed squarely on Aella, and the room fell silent, all eyes turning to her.

Taking a deep breath, Aella finally mustered the courage to respond. “I’ll drink,” she said, her voice steady despite her racing heart.

But before she could finish her thought, both Tyrone and Daniel chimed in simultaneously, “I’ll drink for her,” each grabbing a glass.

Aella glanced from Daniel to Tyrone, their expressions a mix of defiance and camaraderie, and she quickly downed her shot, the liquid burning as it slid down her throat.

Daniel and Tyrone followed suit, their glasses clinking softly against the table as they set them down, the atmosphere thick with unspoken words.

An awkward silence enveloped the group, heavy and palpable, until Raine broke it with a lighthearted, “Uh, Aella, your turn.”

Feeling the pressure mount, Aella shook her head. “Kayla, you go,” she urged, eager to pass the spotlight.

Kayla, understanding the unspoken cue, made her way to the coffee table and spun the bottle in Aella’s stead. It pointed directly at Daniel.

With a mischievous smile, she asked, “Daniel, I heard you’ve been turning down all the blind dates your family sets up. Do you like someone?”

Daniel’s gaze flickered to Aella for a fleeting moment before he replied, his voice softening, “Yeah. I do.”

The room erupted into a cacophony of whistles and teasing remarks, and Aella felt her heart leap into her throat, a mix of excitement and dread coursing through her veins. Would Daniel say something even bolder? The game had taken a turn, and she could only hold her breath in anticipation.
