Chapter 478 The Hidden Bloodline Uncovered
All night long, Tyrone’s eyes never left Aella.
He watched her carefully, studying every small reaction, but he never said a word.
Aella said to the three of them, “I want to go home first.”
Tyrone put down his glass. “Didn’t you agree to stay and check Natasha’s pulse for Mrs. Sophia?”
Aella shook her head. “No need.”
Tyrone left early with Aella.
Brad and Raine followed after them.

On the way home, Aella sent Daniel a message, saying she wasn’t feeling well and had gone home first.
Daniel rushed downstairs to look for her, but the housekeeper told him Aella had already left.
Lysander came after him. “Daniel, what’s wrong?”
Daniel shook his head. “Nothing.”
Tonight’s welcome party had blown up so fast he never got the chance to take care of her.
The brothers went back to Sophia’s room.
Lilian asked what happened.
Daniel said, “Aella wasn’t feeling well, so she left early.”
Sophia sat cross–legged on the bed and hissed, “When I asked her to stay and check Grandma’s pulse later, she agreed. She looked fine earlier.”
Lilian sighed. “The banquet was a mess. Anyone would feel uncomfortable, especially a young woman like
her.”
Lysander said, “Mom’s right. She probably couldn’t watch anymore and left.”
Daniel’s expression darkened.
Aella might be young, but she never left things unfinished.
If she promised something, she would do it even if she was sick.
What really happened?
Daniel stepped out and called her.
At the same time, Tyrone’s car–stopped below her building.

The car eased to a stop. Aella glanced at Tyrone and calmly answered Daniel’s call.

Daniel’s worried voice came through. “Why do you feel sick all of a sudden? Did you catch a cold?”
Aella replied, sounding casual, “Maybe a bit. I just went home early. Don’t worry about it, Daniel. I’m home already.”
Daniel didn’t press her. He gave a few reminders, and Aella ended the call.
Tyrone could tell she was in a low mood.
He said quietly, “Even if she becomes part of the Hills, I won’t let her disturb your life.”
He had planned to use Jolene’s family and the Guineveres to deal with both Zera and Anna, along with their backer, the Cunninghams.
But halfway through, everything changed.
Zera had suddenly become the adopted daughter of the Hills.
Even so, he had no intention of letting her off.
Aella unbuckled her seat belt, said nothing, and got out of the car.
The window slid down as Tyrone watched her walk into the elevator.
She was so unsettled she didn’t respond to him at all.
Tyrone looked away and told the driver to go.
As soon as the car left the neighborhood, his phone rang.
He glanced at the number and answered. “Tell me the result.”
On the other end, Noel reported everything he had found.
When Tyrone returned to Bluehaven, Brad and Raine were waiting.
Raine rushed over. “Tyrone, Zera was cornered so badly she had to flee overseas. How did she suddenly become the Hills‘ adopted daughter?”
Brad asked, “What’s going on with her?”
Tyrone sank onto the couch, tired.
“She and Anna were driven out of the country by Jolene. Zera gave Natasha one of her kidneys.”
Brad and Raine nearly dropped their eyes to the floor.
Brad blurted, “Wow. She sold her kidney for money?”

Tyrone sighed. “Not just that.”

Raine shook his arm impatiently. “Tyrone, can you say the whole thing at once? You’re killing me.”
Tyrone said, “Zera is Caleb’s daughter. Natasha’s granddaughter.”
“What?”
Raine and Brad shouted at the same time.
Tyrone rubbed his forehead.
Caleb Hill had been Natasha’s favorite son. He died young in a car accident, without ever starting a family.
Zera donated a kidney to Natasha, and they discovered she was Caleb’s only bloodline left in the world.
No wonder Natasha defended her without question.
She forced Zera into the family by making Thomas adopt her on the spot.
From the looks on the Hills family’s faces tonight, they still didn’t know Zera’s true identity.
Raine was stunned.
The Hills had always shown kindness to the Winters. If the Hills chose to protect Zera, that little troublemaker, how was Tyrone supposed to teach Zera a lesson?
At the same time, Aella was video–chatting with her best friend Kayla about the Zera situation.
On the screen, Kayla asked, “Aella, will you and Daniel take things further?”
Aella lowered her eyes and didn’t speak for a long moment.
Daniel had many qualities she liked.
She had thought about trying a relationship with him.
