A sharp, cold glare shot from Brad’s eyes, and George immediately started sweating nervously

George stammered, “Mr. Keller, I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong to the Winters or the Kellers, but Ms. Winter keeps making things really difficult…
Brad cut him off before he could finish. “You brought this on yourself. You knew Zera was the Winters‘ enemy and still worked with her. That’s on you.”
He added. “Before I came, Mr. Winter told me to give you a message, Mr. Cunningham. Stay away from those two Caldwell women, or you’re in big trouble.”
Brad then put an arm around Raine and walked away.
Raine quickly took the chance to grab Rachel and move her out of the church.
When they stepped outside, Raine noticed it was raining. “Getting married in the rain? That’s not a good sign. Something bad is coming.”
Raine handed the livestream gear to Rachel.
Rachel kept thanking her, then took the equipment to find her influencer friend.
Raine and Brad got into the car and saw Tyrone was already there.
Raine’s face lit up. “Tyrone, you came too?”
Tyrone didn’t say anything. He just told the driver to start driving.
He stayed quiet the whole ride.
Brad and Raine kept talking nonstop.
Suddenly, Tyrone said, “Pull over.”
Both Brad and Raine looked surprised as the driver slowed down to the side of the road.
Tyrone asked, “Do we have an umbrella?”
The driver quickly handed one to him.
Tyrone took it and stepped out.
Brad and Raine stayed in the car, watching Tyrone run through the rain toward Aella,

holding the umbrella, when suddenly it clicked.
Aella
Raine tried to get out, too, but Brad held her back.
He told the driver to keep going, leaving Tyrone behind.
Aella had stopped by during her lunch break to check on a friend of her mom’s. When she came out, rain was pouring down.
She hadn’t expected to bump into Tyrone.
He held the umbrella in one hand and took off bis coat with the other.
Aella shook her head. “You don’t need to, Tyrone. I’m fine.”
But he still put the coat over her shoulders. “Where are you going? I’ll take you.”
Aella thought for a moment, but still shook her head. “I’ll take a taxi back to the hospital. You go do your thing.”
When Tyrone turned around, he saw that his car was already gone.
Looking down at her, he asked, “Have you had lunch yet?”

Tyrone looked around and spotted a bubble tea shop with a line of people. “Come on. I’ll get you some bubble tea.”
He remembered that she loved street food.
Bubble tea, barbecue, all sorts of snacks.
If it was tasty, no narrow alley was too tricky for her and Raine to explore.
Aella nodded, and they walked under one umbrella to the back of the line.
Tyrone switched spots so he was on the windy side, tilting the umbrella more to keep her dry.
She looked at him. “Why are you here in the West District?”
He looked down. “I came with Brad. Just taking care of a small thing.”

It had been a few days since they last saw each other. They weren’t super close, but talking to him still felt easy.
The rain wasn’t heavy, and the two of them chatted casually while waiting in line.
Tyrone watched her while she spoke, his head slightly bent.
He remembered how she used to hold onto him asking to go to the street market, begging to try the little food stalls.
Back then, he never understood why a skewer or a cup of bubble tea made her so happy.
Now, he finally got it.
Happiness was actually simple.
Having someone you like by your side made everything you did together felt joyful.
The staff asked what they wanted. Tyrone said, “One strawberry bubble tea. Thirty percent sugar.”
Aella looked at him.
It was rare for him to remember her favorite.
He handed her the drink. “My driver will be here soon. Let’s wait by the road.”
Across the street, in a stretch limousine, Aurelia spotted Aella with Tyrone and quickly rolled down the window. “Daniel, that’s Aella!”
Daniel and the rest of the family all turned to look.
Lilian and Thomas squeezed into the back with the kids.
They saw Aella wearing Tyrone’s coat and sharing his umbrella by the roadside. One by one, they looked at Daniel with pity in their eyes.
Daniel frowned. “Why are you all staring like that?”
Lysander said, “Daniel, a real man knows how to show care. Look at Mr. Winter–coat, bubble tea, so thoughtful.”
Michael snorted. “Just being thoughtful isn’t enough. A good wife takes effort. You have to fight for her, use strategy.”

Lilian shook her head. “You’re all thinking the wrong way. Use money. Daniel, check your personal assets. How much do you have compared to Mr. Winter?”
