She cried as she spoke, “Grandma, I was raised by Shirley. She favors boys and abused me when I was little. Whenever I got bullied, she’d just hit me or scream at me. If Tyrone bullied me, how would I dare speak up?”

Zera begged Natasha, “But Grandma, I’m a Hill now! I represent the Hills. Tyrone used me and then dumped me–he’s disrespecting our family. Am I supposed to just take it as I used to? Can’t I get some justice now that I’m here?”

She looked at her phone. Jenny had sent her Aella’s phone number and her home address. Zera dressed up carefully, then headed out.

Aella had just hung up with Tyrone when an unknown number called her.
