Seeing the deep frown between his brows, Aella felt bad and nodded. “I see.”

Tyrone reached out, pulled her close, and let her rest against him.

Tyrone woke up from the nightmare, his chest still hurting.

He and Aella were about to get engaged.

Brad, dressed in his best man suit, handed two bouquets to Tyrone. “One is for your future mother–in–law, one is for your wife. Don’t mix them up.”

Tyrone took the flowers, and they went downstairs.

Looking around at the church filled with white roses, Brad teased him. “Your engagement looks fancier than most weddings. Didn’t think you cared this much about Aella.”

Tyrone glanced at him. “She’s my girl. Of course I care.”
