Chapter 125
Beatrice still didn’t get why she was suddenly told to come back. But at least she was back now. Her first priority was handling the situation with the child–Stella absolutely couldn’t find out about the kid.
Dylan was surprised to see his mom back. Who got her out?‘ he wondered.
Dylan asked, “Mom, who got you out?”
“I did. Serena’s cold voice rang out from the doorway.
Beatrice was stunned to see Stella. ‘Why her?‘ she thought.
Serena walked in, followed by Chris and a dozen bodyguards.
Dylan’s eyes darkened. “Stella, what are you trying to do?”
Bringing all these bodyguards into my house? Does she think this place is a fortress or something?‘ he thought.
Serena didn’t even look at him. Her eyes were fixed on Liam, who was standing next to Dylan.
Liam trembled with excitement when he saw his mom. His lips quivered, and his hand hurt so much, he just couldn’t hold back anymore and cried out, “Mom.”
“Mom, did you come to save me?” Liam called out, his voice trembling with hope.
Eliana was stunned. Why does that little brat keep calling Stella “Mom“?‘ she thought.
Serena rushed over.
She slapped Dylan hard across the face.
“Dylan, you saved me once, and I did everything I could to repay you. But the three of you plotted against my child. When you handed my son over to Eliana, did you ever stop to think that he is my everything, the only thing I ever think about? How could you be so cruel?” Serena shouted, her voice trembling with anger and pain.
Dylan was completely baffled. Seeing the redness in her eyes, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He smirked, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. “Stella, what are you even talking about? I don’t get what you’re saying.”
“You don’t get it? Dylan, even now, you’re still this shameless?” Serena snapped.
Serena crouched down and hugged Liam tightly. Seeing his face all covered in tears, her heart broke. “Sweetie, Mom’s here. Don’t be scared. Don’t cry. This time, I swear, I’ll never leave you again. It’s my fault I couldn’t protect you, that we were apart for so long. Sweetie, Mom’s here to take you home.” She clung to him, as if she would never let him go.
Dylan let out a cold laugh, anger burning in his chest. Watching Stella clutch the kid, crying like her world was falling apart, he shouted, “Enough, Stella. I get that losing your child hurts, but you show up with all these people? Are you here to take him by force?”
Before Dylan could finish, Liam’s voice broke through, his words shaking with desperation. “Mom, can you call the police? I’ve got proof that Eliana hurts me every day. Mom, if you don’t come, I’m really gonna die. My hand hurts so much.”
Dylan’s eyes went wide, stunned to his core.
Eliana tried to snatch Liam, but two bodyguards stepped in and blocked her.
Eliana screamed, “Don’t you dare take my son, Stella! Are you insane? Your kid is dead…

Elana froze, staring at Liam. He barely ever talks. How come be’s suddenly so quick and articulate odlag
“You’re a bad woman! You lied to my mom! You told her I was dead, but you secretly took me and raised me yourself. In’s that what you always say to me when you’re angry?” Liam yelled, his voice shaking with fury, as he struggled to lift his phone and shook it for everyone to see.
Tve got a bunch of evidence on here, so my mom can finally get me back. The three of you hurt me every day, any vard his voice steady and determined.
With his mom here, he finally felt brave.
Serena was so upset by her son’s words that she nearly fainted. As she held him, something felt wrong. She quickly glanced down at his left hand and found his little hand was swollen badly.
“Oh…” Serena gently set him down, afraid to touch him. How much must this hurt? What did my baby have to go throught she thought, her heart aching.
“Sweetie.” Serena said, her voice trembling with worry as she looked at him.
But Liam was all smiles. He reached out with his good hand and gently wiped away his mom’s tears. “Mom, don’t cry Im fine. I knew you’d come for me.”
Serena’s heart ached even more, feeling sorry that she was too late. “Sweetie, Mom’s late. What happened to your hand? Who did this to you?”
