Chapter 169

Eliana had barely walked a few steps when she suddenly spotted Tyler’s mom. Her heart skipped a beat. She panicked and immediately turned to run in the opposite direction.
Eliana thought anxiously, “There’s no way I can let Tyler’s mom see me right now. She didn’t even know if Tyler was alive or dead; Beatrice had taken care of everything so far.
Just thinking about that man made a deep, aching pain fill Eliana’s eyes.
Tyler had treated her well, but he had a temper. Whenever he got drunk, he’d get violent and abusive.
If it hadn’t been for Tyler’s abuse, she could’ve been a woman loved and cared for by her man.
But because of him, her health suffered.
If he hadn’t gotten violent with her that night, she wouldn’t have left the house, wouldn’t have run into those people, and her life wouldn’t have gone off the rails like this.
Eliana still couldn’t help but hate Tyler with all her heart.
When Beatrice brought it up, Eliana agreed without a second thought.
Because Dylan was always waiting for her to come back.
Eliana waited it out for a bit, but when she finally looked back, Dylan was already gone.
She stomped her foot, annoyed. If Dylan refused to see her, she’d just have to corner him somehow.
At the very least, as long as Dylan was still alive, all his assets needed to be left to her, his savior.
Just as Eliana was about to leave, she spotted Serena coming out with Liam.
Thinking about everything she’d suffered and all the fear lately, Eliana didn’t hesitate. She rushed over and cut Serena off.
Serena wasn’t the least bit surprised to see Eliana here. ‘Of course she’d show up wherever Dylan is,‘ she thought.
Eliana looked down at Liam, who was clearly wary of her, and gave a mocking smile. “Liam, I’m your mom. Why won’t you call me that?”
Hatred flashed in Liam’s eyes as he glared at her, his big eyes full of anger. “You’re not my mom. My mom is gentle ansi beautiful, not some crazy woman like you.”
Serena couldn’t hide the satisfaction in her smile when she heard her son’s words.
Eliana’s face turned cold. “What an ungrateful brat. No matter how much I do for you, you’ll always bite the hand that feeds
you.”
“Eliana, watch your mouth in front of the kid,” Serena said, her voice hoarse and icy. She was still recovering from a cold.
“Stella, you really think you can actually win against me? So what if I got sick? So what it I had a daughter with someone else? Even if I stole your son, so what? Dylan still couldn’t do anything to me, could he?” Eliana sneered
Eliana stood there, arms crossed, radiating arrogance as she shot Serena a triumphant look, even shaking her head in smug
satisfaction.
Serena narrowed her eyes at Eliana’s smugness. “Eliana, do you really think you can hide the truth about those forged medical records forever? Did you really save him, or is that just another lie?”

Chapter 169
Serena slowly pulled aside her clothes, and the twisted scar, still tinged with a faint purple hue, came into view.
“Eliana, do you really think you can keep gloating forever?” Stella shot her a cold, mocking look as she smirked.

Eliana instinctively stepped back in shock, her eyes glued to the horrible scar on Serena’s body. She couldn’t help but retreat, completely stunned.
That twisted scar was the proof that Serena had gotten it when she saved Dylan all those years ago.
Eliana stared at Serena as if she were a freak. Not in her wildest dreams did she think Serena would go to such lengths for Dylan.
The endless stream of cars behind them buzzed in Eliana’s ears, but she barely registered the noise.
Eliana didn’t hear a thing. Her gaze was fixated on Serena’s chest, even though Serena had already covered herself up again.
“Eliana, did you see that? This scar is proof I saved him. Did you really think you could hide this forever?” Serena said.
Serena’s voice was low and hoarse, with a frosty undertone that sent a chill through the air.
Serena suddenly jerked back another step, and in that instant, she found herself envying Dylan. ‘He actually has someone willing to give up everything, even their life, just for him,‘ she thought.
Eliana couldn’t help but feel jealous of Dylan and Stella. She sneered, “Stella, you really think he’s gonna buy your story?”
