Chapter 220
Spencer knew Serena wouldn’t let him drive her home, so he called his assistant ahead of time
He took the gifts from his assistant and handed them to Serena
With a smile, he said. “Serena, take these gifts home for Liam. I’m sure he’ll love them
Serena smiled as she took the gifts. She could see they were all things Liam loved, and she felt genuinely grateful Spencer, thank you! Liam will be so excited he won’t be able to sleep.”
Spencer chuckled, “You know, maybe it’s better to save them for tomorrow morning”
Serena knew her son well. If she gave him the gifts tonight, he’d be too hyped to fall asleep.
“Alright! I’ll give them to him tomorrow morning. Let’s let him get a good night’s sleep tonight, she said
Just picturing Liam’s happy little face made Serena’s heart melt.
Spencer watched her, her smile lighting up her whole face, and the tenderness in his eyes was almost tangible.
When she smiled like that, she was truly beautiful.
She outshone even the moon in the sky.
“Serena, want me to take you home?” Spencer offered.
Serena shook her head. “It’s okay, Chris is picking me up.”
Spencer hadn’t really expected her to say yes, but he couldn’t help asking anyway.
He couldn’t help feeling a pang of disappointment when she declined. “Serena, give me a call when you get home, alright?” he said.
“Okay!” Serena watched as Spencer’s assistant pulled up. Just as she was about to say goodbye, someone suddenly shoved her.
“Ah!” The shove came out of nowhere, and Serena thought she was about to hit the ground hard.
But instead of the expected pain, she found herself caught in a warm, familiar embrace.
She froze for a moment, then glanced over and saw Spencer’s hand still outstretched. He’d tried to catch her, but missed.
Spencer had wanted to save her, but Dylan had rushed out of the shadows and caught her first.
Serena recognized Dylan immediately. She quickly stepped out of his embrace and, with an icy tone, said, “Thanks.”
As she left his arms, Dylan felt as if his whole world had suddenly become empty.
He stared blankly at his arms. Just a moment ago, holding her had made his lonely heart feel like it finally belonged somewhere.
Serena didn’t care what Dylan was thinking. She looked up to see Yvonne storming over, her face twisted with anger.
Serena’s eyes blazed with fury. “Yvonne, what the hell are you doing?*

Chapter 220
Yvonne let out a cold, sarcastic laugh, her icy gaze locked onto Serena. “Stella, don’t you seriously know what I’m doing?”
Stella knows I like Spencer, so why does she keep getting close to him? Yvonne fumed, jealousy burning inside.
Serena knew exactly what Yvonne was getting at–Yvonne had feelings for Spencer.
But Serena and Spencer were friends too.
And Yvonne couldn’t tell her who she could or couldn’t be friends with.
Serena acted clueless and asked Yvonne, “Yvonne, what am I supposed to understand? Why don’t you spell it out for me?”
Yvonne suddenly shot a glare at Spencer, who was standing behind her. ‘Is that little brat really pretending to be clueless?” she fumed inwardly.
“Stella, this is my final warning. If you try this again…” Yvonne threatened, her voice icy.
“If I do, Yvonne, what exactly are you going to do about it?” Serena replied, her gaze frosty and unyielding.
