“It’s better to get it over with now than drag out the pain. I’m taking Cassie with me today. If you want to find out where your real daughter is, you should go see Louisa. She’s the one who knows where your real daughter is.”

Kendall turned around and looked at Cassie, who was standing behind her, looking lost. Cassie was still just a kid, clueless about what was really happening. Whenever someone was nice to her, she’d flash a smile.

Even though she was so young, Cassie could read the room better than most adults.

Kendall shook her head and managed a smile. “It’s nothing, honey. I’m really okay.”

Cassie felt her mom was upset, so she clung to her mom’s neck, holding on tight.

Kendall looked at Beatrice. “Beatrice, I really do want to return Cassie to her real mom, but before that, I need to do a DNA test myself.”

Beatrice glanced at Cassie and could instantly tell she was Eliana’s daughter. They looked so much alike.

“Alright, Beatrice replied. “I’ll take you to a private clinic. The DNA test won’t take long, and once you see the results for yourself, you’ll feel better about letting Cassie go.”

With that, Beatrice called up the hospital.

Then she took Kendall and Cassie and headed straight for the private hospital.
