Chapter 308
It was Dylan’s medical record. He had come to Ethan for treatment.

Serena already knew about Dylan’s condition, but she still read the record carefully. After finishing, she handed Ethan a prescription.
“Ethan, with daily massage treatment and this prescription, his health will gradually improve. He only needs to take the medicine for another six months,” she said.
Serena couldn’t just stand by and do nothing when it came to Dylan. By helping Ethan save him, she saw it as a way to repay her grandparents‘ kindness from back then.
Ethan finally had a solution, and he was grateful to Serena. “Serena, thank you! Now I can finally relax. Tomorrow, I’ll go see Dylan and get started on his treatment.”
Serena smiled and nodded. “Felix, there are a lot of herbs to prepare. I won’t keep you tonight. I’ll treat you to dinner another day.”
Felix stood up. He was a total medicine nerd, though he didn’t have Serena’s natural talent. Still, he believed that hard work pays off, and now he’d come a long way as a doctor.
Felix walked away in high spirits.
After seeing Felix off, Serena decided to take Liam out for a walk around the neighborhood.
She was holding Liam’s hand as they stepped outside when, suddenly, she found herself wrapped up in a warm embrace.
Serena froze for a second. The familiar scent told her exactly who it was, even without looking up.
She started to push Dylan away with both hands.
But Dylan pleaded softly, his voice trembling, “Stella, please… Don’t push me away. I’m begging you, don’t push me away
Serena was stunned. ‘What’s wrong with him all of a sudden?‘ she wondered.
Did something just break him?‘ she thought.
Dylan had always been cold and reckless, never caring about anything. She’d never seen him so vulnerable before.
Serena stayed still, letting Dylan hold her for a while,
Serena thought, ‘With his voice shaking like that, he was just like a helpless kid, searching for comfort.”
After a long moment, she finally asked, “Dylan, what’s wrong?”
Jam looked at Dylan, clearly unhappy. ‘Is he here to make Mom mad again?‘ he thought,
Big bad guy! Liam muttered under his breath.
Dylan held her tightly, his voice filled with undisguised tenderness, Stella. I’m tine. I just missed you just wanted
you
It all felt like a dream to him,
The first girl he ever fell for was the very girl he’d hurt so deeply

Chapter 308
‘Stella, how can I ever make it up to you? What will it take for you to come back to me?‘ he wondered.
Even if you never come back to me, it doesn’t matter. I’ll wait for you my whole life, he thought.

On his way here, Dylan was a mess of nerves and excitement. After all, the person he loved most was also the one he’d hurt the deepest. The guilt and longing tangled inside him, making every step feel heavy.
Serena sensed something was really off with Dylan. “Dylan, you’re squeezing me too tight. It hurts,” she said, her voice tinged with confusion.
Dylan abruptly let go of her.
He gazed at her serene, distant expression, then held her hand tightly. Her hand was so small and delicate, her nails always
neat.
His own large hand could easily envelop hers, and just holding her like this felt perfect. He wished he could stay like this with her for a lifetime, until the end of time.
Some people wonder, ‘Can you really fall for someone just because of a few letters?‘
Dylan was living proof. Those letters were exactly what made him fall for the girl he couldn’t get out of his mind.
Serena’s brows furrowed as she quickly snatched her hand away.
Her voice was cold and detached. “What’s wrong with you?”
Looking at him, she could tell he seemed okay mentally.
With Felix’s medicine, his pain hadn’t been bothering him as much lately. As long as he kept taking it, he’d be a bit weak, but he’d be fine.
And his dad still hadn’t woken up. It was like trouble just kept following these two.
She still had to go treat Nolan later.
Beatrice and Yvonne’s dad were teaming up, and it was obvious they still had it out for Dylan.
Plus, Beatrice was already snooping around Nolan’s assets behind the scenes.
Dylan stared at her. His heart was aching. Stella’s eyes were calm and unfathomable, so clear, and deep that he almost couldn’t bring himself to look straight at her.
With a voice full of anguish, he asked, “Stella, why did you never tell me you were the one who wrote those letters
