[Jasper’s definitely going to be drinking tonight, and that’s when I’ll make sure to get proof of what he did to Nolan.]

Serena frowned, worried Zoe might be putting herself in danger.

Serena: [Mrs. Lambert, don’t do anything reckless.]

Zoe: [I’ve got this. Don’t worry.]

Serena didn’t say anything more.

Dylan was having a full physical.

As his personal doctor, Ethan was staying at the villa Dylan had set up for him.

The villa was stocked with all the medical equipment he needed.

After two days of treatment, Dylan was feeling much better.

He buried himself in work, just so he wouldn’t keep thinking about Stella.

But when Ethan called early that morning, saying he’d found a treatment for him, Dylan headed straight to the villa.

After the checkup, Ethan let out a sigh of relief.

He carefully documented Dylan’s current condition.

“Mr. Ashford, last night I met with my junior sister and shared your medical records with her. She gave me the prescription.

“As long as you stick to regular checkups and take your medication as prescribed, you’ll make a full recovery in six months, Felix said.

“You’re really lucky. My junior sister rarely agrees to help anyone these days. Sure, I could’ve treated you myself, but it would’ve taken a lot longer. With her prescription, you’ll be back to normal in half a year,” Felix added.

Dylan got dressed and looked at Felix. “Thank you, Dr. Yardley.”

Ethan grinned. “Don’t thank me, thank my junior sister. She handed over the prescription without a second thought.”

Felix handed him the list of herbs. “You’ll need these herbs. Get them as soon as you can. Try to come in for a checkup once a week if possible.”

Dylan was genuinely grateful. He finally had a shot at living again. “Got it, Dr. Flynn. If you need anything, just let me know.”

Ethan set down what he was holding and said, “I don’t need anything else, just the herbs. Once you’re better, I’ll go back to working at the hospital.”

Dylan caught his drift. “Dr. Yardley, when I’m healthy again, maybe I can send some new patients your way.”

Ethan smiled. ‘This Dylan is sharp,’ he thought, ‘Truth be told, I like being a private doctor way more than working at the hospital, less stress, more time to really dig into my cases.’

Ethan said, “Thanks, Mr. Ashford!”

Dylan chatted with Ethan for a bit, then headed to the office.

Miles came to pick him up. As soon as he saw Dylan, Miles said, “Mr. Ashford, Jasper already knows about Eliana. I ran into him at a restaurant on purpose, and he went straight to the Ashford mansion.”

Dylan let out a cold laugh. He said, “This is just the beginning. Now that Jasper knows about Eliana and the Lennox family, there’s no way he’ll just walk away from all that wealth.

Those two are going to stir up chaos and make life miserable for everyone around them.”
