From Divorced Wife To The Top Heiress novel Chapter 350

Dylan stared at Serena’s cool, aloof expression, unable to recognize this Stella as the one he had known just a few months

ago.

Back then, she only had eyes for him.

Now, she was so aloof and unapproachable that it felt impossible for anyone to get close.

Suddenly, Dylan spotted another guy trying to make a run for it He turned and chased after him.

Serena knew he was still weak and wasn’t very agile anymore.

Ever since the car accident, he hadn’t been working out at all.

She hesitated for a second, but in the end, she followed after him.

Dylan yanked the guy by the collar.

The man’s eyes burned with murderous intent. He flipped out a knife and stabbed at Dylan with lightning speed.

Serena rushed forward and shoved Dylan aside.

The knife plunged into Serena’s arm.

Her old injuries hadn’t healed, and now she was hurt again.

While Dylan stumbled aside, he heard the sharp rip of fabric.

His heart dropped. Stella’s hurt,he thought.

Serena fixed the man with a cold, piercing

The moment their eyes met, the man was frozen in place, intimidated by her frosty stare.

Then his whole body hurt.

While he was still stunned, Serena gripped his knife hand, yanked it hard, and with a deft, ruthless move, severed the tendons in his other arm.

The man stared at his right hand, which now dangled uselessly, as if it had lost all its strength.

The pain was so intense that he felt like a massive boulder was crashing his chest. He could barely breathe. Every breath stabbed at him, sharp and relentless.

His arms and legs went numb and heavy, weighed down as if invisible chains were locking him in place.

He dropped to the ground, wideeyed and terrified, staring at Serena as he gasped for air.

Miles had already called the cops, and the sound of sirens was getting closer.

It was only then that Dylan snapped back to reality. His gaze traced Stella’s arm inch by inch. In the dim light, he couldn’t make out the blood staining her clothes, but he could see it dripping from her fingers

Stella, you’re hurt,” Dylan said, his voice tight with worry as he stared at her.

Serena just looked at him in silence. If he hadn’t been

so clueless I wouldn’t have gotten hurt, she thought.

Chapter 350

She said coolly, I’m fine.

15%

You’re bleeding! How can you be fine? I’m taking you to the hospital. Let Miles and Lyra handle things here, Dylan said, his voice urgent.

Not taking no for an answer, Dylan grabbed Serena and hustled her into his car.

Lyra saw what was happening and didn’t try to stop them. Seren needed medical attention, so Lyra stayed behind to clean up the mess.

Dylan pulled open the passenger door and got Serena in. He took off his jacket, ripped out the lining, and wrapped it around her bleeding arm.

With a serious look, he got behind the wheel and drove Serena to the hospital.

Serena clamped down on her wound. There was no pain, just a strange numbness.

Watching Dylan speed down the road, she couldn’t help but speak up. Dylan, it’s just a minor injury. I’m not dying. Slow down, will you? I really don’t want another crash.

Dylan pressed his lips together and eased off the gas, slowing the car down a lot.

Serena closed her eyes and stayed quiet. This was the first time Dylan had ever been this worried about her.

Before this, he was always hovering over Eliana. Even if she just had a cough, Dylan would stick by her side.

But when Serena had a high fever that wouldn’t go away, Dylan just sneered, Stella, it’s just a cold. Why are you being so dramatic?

From then on, whenever she got sick, she never asked Dylan for help. She’d treat herself, or head to the hospital for an IV drip all on her own.

Over the years, her health had only gotten worse. Sometimes, she wondered if it was all really worth it.

But back then, she genuinely didn’t want Dylan to die.

He was the boy she once cherished.

Dylan turned his head, watching her leaning against the window, eyes closed, her face pale and weak. His hands tightened around the steering wheel. Is she really not even willing to talk to me anymore?he wondered.
