From His Wife to His Uncle's Wife novel Chapter 301

Yolanda really didn’t ask much of Linden. After talking things over with her mom, she agreed to the marriage.

The Sidler family didn’t waste a second. They showed up right away to make their proposal official.

James came with property deeds and stock certificates in hand, making it clear he was dead serious about all this. The business ties between their families were only going to get stronger from here.

Linden glanced over at Yolanda, who had barely said a word through the whole meeting. “I heard tomorrow’s supposed to be a lucky day. Want to go register our marriage?”

Yolanda looked him up and down, catching the excitement he was trying so hard to hide in his dark eyes.

Maybe marrying this guy wouldn’t be so bad, she thought.

“Sure,” she said.

The next day, they walked out of the marriage registration office together. Linden, copying what Max always did, took a cute photo of their marriage certificate and posted it on social media. Then he went down his friends list, tagging every one of his buddies in the big group chat.

Funny enough, Linden and Jordan Gates were both in the same massive chat group.

A message popped up almost instantly. “Mr. Sidler, congrats! Didn’t think you’d tie the knot so soon.”

Linden grinned as he replied to everyone. If he had more time, he would’ve probably invited the entire chat to the wedding. No one mentioned who his bride was, though, so Jordan Gates had no clue that Linden’s wife was Yolanda.

Max saw Linden’s post, rolled his eyes, and blocked him from his feed without a second thought. Talk about petty.

Juliana couldn’t sleep all night. She finally borrowed someone’s phone and called Eleanor.

“Eleanor, it’s me, your mom.”

Eleanor frowned at the strange number. “What do you want?”

She’d given Juliana plenty of chances before, but her mother just kept proving she didn’t care about their relationship.

Juliana fell silent.

“So from now on, he’s got to make his own way, right?”

“If there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up.”

If Eleanor ever helped out in the future, it would be her own choice. There was no way she was going to let anyone guilt her into promises, especially not someone who’d almost ruined her life.

Juliana had hoped for even the tiniest bit of reassurance from her adopted daughter, just so she wouldn’t have to take any risks.

“If that’s how it is, don’t blame me for what comes next.”

Juliana sent Jessie Goff a message. “Tell me what you need me to do.”

Over the next few days, Jared couldn’t help but notice his mom was acting weird.
