“I cant believe that this happened, what could have gone wrong?” Olivia asked no one in particular.

“It’s fine, guys. Thankfully, Damon took me out of there before any real damage could happen.” I said, and they all nodded.

“Im so sorry that happened. You should not have to go through that,” Zara said, and Aunt Laura rubbed my shoulders. She was sitting beside me, holding me in a side hug.

“Thank you.”

“So, I was thinking, this whole thing looks sketchy. What if Summer had a hand in it?” Alexis asked. “Because we all know that she always has something up her sleeve, and this might be what she had planned for tonight.” Alexis looked at everyone. She was right.

I have been thinking that this could be Summer too, because she was cruel like that.

“The guy who designed Eloise’s dress is making a speech on the stage, with Summer beside him,” Olivia said as she swiped the vided to the TV’s big screen in the room.

She increased the volume also.

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Carlus, and this is my design. A few minutes ago, one of my designs was ripped on the body of our Queen. I want to apologise for my incompetence, but on the other hand, you all can see that the same dress is sitting pretty in another colour on my lady here. Without ripping,” he said, and the crowd cheered and clapped.

“Now, at the end of the day, that dress ripping is my fault, but I want you all not to be discouraged from getting it because there are different body sizes, and in as much as the ripping is my fault, the Queen’s body size also contributed to it, as we all know, she’s ok the bigger side and you know….” he waited for a while with a pause on his face.

“Thats why it pays to go to the gym, I’m talking to the audience, so in case you want to get this dress, we won’t have the same issue. Go to the gym and stay healthy. Thank you,” he said, dropped the mic and bowed with Summer.

“This motherfucker.” Alexis growled.

“It was definitely planned with Summer,” Zara noted, and we all nodded in agreement.

“But what else does this lady want? Is she okay? I personally think she is mentally deranged because only then will she decide to strip her fellow woman naked in front of thousands of people, live and virtual.” Olivia mentioned.

“It’s okay, girls. We just have to make Eloise better and wait for this bitch’s turn.” Aunt Laura said.

I continued staring at the screen as both of them walked around the stage, holding hands, when suddenly a presence appeared behind them. I sat up and watched as this person took the microphone.

“Oh my days, is that Damon?” Lex asked.

“In fact, I think he is.” Aunt Laura murmured beside me.

We watched in awe as the crowd quietened, and both Carlos and Summer turned to see Damon. Both of them froze, and i watched as Summer quickly removed her hands from Carlos’s.

Damon just stood there, holding the microphone, and I started getting nervous, wondering what this man was about to do. I sat up, my bum at the edge of the couch.

“Relax. Will you?” Aunt Laura said, and I tried to shift back, but I was so on edge.

“Carlos, right?” he spoke into the microphone.

“Yes, m….my King,” he stammered.

“Good, good. Now, the only business I have with you right now is because you just insulted my wife,” je said slowly, as if he was about to do the most normal thing in the world.

At that moment, he was standing a few feet away from Carlos, the next minute, he was behind him, slitting his throat open with his claw, and Carlos’s body thudded to the floor of the stage.

“Moon Goddess.” Aunt Laura said.

I watched as Damon brought out a handkerchief and cleaned his bloodied hands. The crowd was still quiet; it felt like they were scared even to scream or say anything. They all kept quiet. After Damon took his precious time, he lifted the mic from the floor.

“And that will be the punishment of any person who decides to mess with my wife,” he said with a smile.

“Now the program can continue, and nobody is allowed to leave because my wife put in work to this event, and all of you must stay, watch everything that will happen and then you can leave. Thank you,” he said, dropped the mic, and then he disappeared from the stage.

And just like that, he was gone, and we watched as Summer puked all over the stage.

“Now, that is what I call the perfect revenge,” Olivia said with a smirk.
