It’s been a long day, a long ass day and to make things worse, my man left. He had to leave in the evening today because of an engaging business matter that he needed to attend to in Chicago.

I almost suggested going with him when I remembered that I had people under my watch here. I couldn’t just leave them. Alexis and Zara were going to be staying over tonight.

Olivia was also on her way to dinner. It was going to be a fun night, plus Lyra would be joining us too. I couldn’t wait to get the tea on how sheet her mates. Another interesting fact that you guys would want to know is that, the Lockwoods have been blowing up my phone, my office lines, the telephone at the palace and they even tried to reach out to my PA.

I told her to put everything that had to do with them on hold, and I would reply to them when I have the time. I didn’t have the luxury to attend to them now, I wanted them to be on their toes. I wanted them to go crazy, and they knew better than to show up at the palace gates requesting me.

The next few days were going to be so fun but I missed my man.

I miss my man and it was driving me insane. But anyways, the show’s gotta go on. So right now, I was dressed up and on my way to the gardens where the dinner would be held. We decided to make it a whole dinner thing, wear the dinner dress, wear heels, and have our hair down.

We were going to be so drunk, and I couldn’t wait. The last few days have been stressful as hell.

I looked at myself in the mirror, I had a black backless gown on, with two ropes holding the neck together. It hugged my body from the waist down to my legs, and then I had gold heels on and a nice gold back. I did little on the jewelry. Just a gold bracelet, a small pair of earrings, and a tiny chain.

My hair stayed in waves and I looked exactly the way I envisioned in my head. I love it.

I started walking out to the garden, the men saying their greetings. Once I got to the garden, everybody was there, talking and laughing. This was exactly the kind of sight I was prepared for today.

“Look who it is,” Lex said, her eyes lighting up at the sight of me.

“Oh my days. You look so different.” Lyra said and I just laughed, all of them were talking at

once.

“Dear cousin, I thought you had abandoned me. We have a lot of scores to settle.” Olivia said and approached me to hug me. I held her tight too, it’s actually been a while since we all hung out this way.

“I’m so sorry, work has been problematic. How’s my Aunt?” I asked her pulling back to look at her.

“Shes been living. I think she has her eyes on the new neighbor,” she said and we all laughed.

“I trust Aunt Laura to get what she wants,” I said and we moved to the rest of the table.

“Thank you guys for the compliments. You all look ravishing too.” I said and they smiled.

They all sat down after I did.

“I had Mary hire the best chefs in town for this dinner. So let’s indulge them and spend the King’s money.” I said and they all cheered.

I clapped and then the chefs came in, with their apprentices trailing behind them.

“Good evening your majesty, ladies, my name is Chef Kai, how may we be of service this lovely evening?” the man who looked like the lead chef asked.

“Good evening, first of all, can we get the best champagne bottle out there?” I asked and immediately, one of the other guys behind him brought the champagne in a bucket that was filled with ice and placed it on the table.

Chef Kai approached the table and opened the champagne with swift expertise, I made a video of the whole thing and how he poured the champagne in flute, then I sent them to my husband, planning on making such videos as I could.

Once all the ladies were served, he proceeded to tell us the things on the menu and the ladies placed their orders. And after they were done, I did mine, then they left to prepare our dinner.

“My Goddess, where did that fine man come from?” Olivia whispered when they left.

“Who?” I asked.

“Chef Kai,” she called with a sultry tone.
