The dinner was fun, and I kid you not, I was drunk out of my mind, and the only thing I could think of right now was talking to my husband. I said goodbye to the girls earlier, since they would be staying in the palace, I gave them each their rooms apart from Lyra who had a place with her mates.

I’ll have breakfast with the rest of the girls tomorrow to decide the next course of action. Right now, I need to deal with the urge to speak to Damon.

The moment I entered my room, I unzipped the gorgeous dress that I had worn all night and started removing all the jewelry I had on. I didn’t bother trying to keep them, I didn’t have the strength to do that, my whole body felt like jelly and I kept grunting each second.

Once I was left in just my lingerie, I lay on the bed and switched the phone on, I found the contact of my husband and started calling him face time. Two rings later, he picked up. I could see that he was busy, he was in a conference room setting, and dressed in a suit, looking impeccable as always.

“Hey ma, do you need something?” he asked.

“My dear h–husband.” I slurred.

He squeezed his beautiful face for a second before he asked. “Are you drunk right now?” he asked and I didn’t know where from, but a giggle left my lips, like a baby.

“Yes. Did you even get the videos I’ve been sending to you all day today?” I asked him.

“No mama. My phone has been on silent and I’ve not received anything,” he said calmly.

“Are you in a meeting?” I asked, sitting up.

“Yes, ma’am.”

“Then don’t let me hold you,” I told him, the reality of his being in a meeting and the fact that I could be wasting the time of people hitting me.

“They can wait,” he said simply. I almost giggled again, but the last restraint I had in me made

me stop.

“Okay. You said you’d call me when you land.” I pouted into the phone, carrying the phone backwards and noticing that my boobs were now showing in the video.

“Ma?” he said immediately, his teeth grinding together so hard.

“You haven’t answered my question,” I said.

“What was the question?” he asked, staring openly at my covered boobs.

“You were supposed to call me later when you landed,” I said, making sure my words were in order so I wouldn’t embarrass myself.

“I’m sorry, work started the moment I got here. It won’t happen again,” he said.

“Good.”

“You went out alone?” he asked.

I was about to reply to him when I remembered the videos I sent to him, including the one where Chef Kai poured me a drink, maybe he would be jealous if he saw it? The video only showed him pouring me the drink, it didn’t show the other girls.

I smirked slowly.

“What did you do, ma?” he said.

“What? How did you conclude that I did something?” I asked with a smile.

“I didn’t. Your smirk just gave it away.”

“Well, check the videos I sent to you earlier. Get back to your meeting, husband.” I said and tapped the red button.

I smiled and got naked, then got under the duvet, inhaling his part of the bed, I missed him. I also made sure to put my phone on silent so I won’t wake up to his call, cause I was sure he would call me.

Thinking of my handsome husband, I dozed off into the arms of sleep.
