I honestly wanted to ignore Summer. I didn’t have her time. There was no point in talking to her.

“I should be asking you that,” I told her and she kept quiet as if she had nothing to say.

I could feel Alexis’s patience wearing thin beside me, as if she would slap Summer if she didn’t stop what she was doing. Well, she had said she would earlier.

“If you don’t have anything else to say, leave my path. I have more important things to do.” I told her and Lucas stepped forward. Ushering her to the side but she glared at him.

“Don’t touch me.” she squealed. “How can you tell your bodyguard to take me out of the way, Ellie? What in this world have I done to you to make you hate me this much? I just want to be your sister.” she said, pretending to cry.
