There was
sank biravy
Kade‘ tare turned serious too. He glanced around quickly, but the lumen’s footsteps were and closer.
“You’re not getting away the lead hitman snarled, his voice echoing through the night “Surrender nok
I gritted my teeth, gripping the hidden weapon tight. “We fight them!”
Kade stopped me and shook his head. “There’s still one way out”
“What?” I asked.
Before I could finish. Kade shifted into his massive white wolf form. He hoisted me onto his back and leaped straight off the cliff.
The lead hitman and his crew reached the cliff edge just in time to see them jump.
They watched the two figures arc through the air, then vanish into the dark depths below.
The rough–faced man punched the rock in fury. “Get down there and search! Find them–dead or alive!
The cliffside below was thick with trees, and the night made it impossible to see a thing.
The hitmen exchanged nervous glances. They’d seen how powerful Kade’s white wolf was, and none wanted to risk the jump.
“The drop’s way too high. They’re definitely dead,” one hitman mumbled.
“Circle around and search the base anyway,” the lead man snapped. “We can’t let them escape.”
He knew exactly what his men were thinking. “That man is Kade, the Alpha King’s heir. You all know how ruthless he is.”
“If he gets away alive, none of us–not even the whole crew–will survive,” he warned.
The hitmen’s faces paled, and they hurried to find a path down.
Kade
A fast, icy river raged at the bottom of the cliff.

Chapter 153 Life Hanging by a Thread
The moment we hit the water. I took full control from Odin. I wrapped my body around Nire abs most of the impact
The water crashed over us. Even as a top–tier wolf, the pressure nearly choked me I fought hard t back up.
“Nira!” I gasped, scanning the water.
But there was no sign of her only churning waves.
My heart dropped. I dove back down, searching frantically
A few yards underwater, I found her. She was unconscious, sinking slowly with the current.
I grabbed her wrist and pulled her up fast.
I broke the surface, gasping for air, then swam hard toward the shore while holding her tight.
The current was strong, but I finally dragged her onto the bank.
I crouched beside her, tapping her cheek gently. “Nira, wake up.”
Her eyes stayed shut. She was pale, her breathing shallow–she’d passed out cold.
