Tessa shook her head. “It’s nothing.” Then she glanced toward the road. “Mr. Howell is heading to the company?”

“Not exactly.” I adjusted my bag. “He’s going to a product launch event.”

I thought for a second. “I think it’s a joint launch between Howell Group and the Vance family.”

“What?!” Tessa practically exploded. “Then Olivia’s definitely going too, right?”

“Mm.” I nodded calmly. “She was already waiting at the Howell estate this morning.”
