Fury Unleashed: The Awakening Alpha Nira (by Chloe Ramos) novel Chapter 352

Chapter 392 The Investigation File

Nira Por

Mic hand landed on my shoulder a move way out of line

Lyra burned with anger and pushed to take control, ready to teach him some rasper

# settled her down, pulled a thin needle from my sleeve, and drove it straight into the man’s forearm.

“Ah!” He cried out, dropping to his knees and clutching his arm. “My hand! I can’t feel my hand!”

“What the hell did you do?” One of Victor’s buddies snarled, fangs bared as he lunged toward me

A faint smile touched my lips. “Just giving him a lesson in manners.”

“You little-” The other two shifted almost at once, fur rippling over their shoulders as wolves, and charged.

With a flick of my wrist, borrowing a trace of Lyra’s energy, I sent two needles flying. Each found its mark.

A second later, all three of Victor’s friends crumpled to the floor, weak and shifting back into human form, liep as ragdolls.

Handling them was almost too easy. I hadn’t even needed Lyra to step in.

The bar erupted into shouts and scrambling chairs.

Victor stared, stunned. When his eyes found me again, there was no fear-just a wild, burning curiosity.

“Holy crap,” he breathed, stepping closer. “You don’t even have a wolf spirit. How did you pull that off?” His gaze locked onto me, intense and almost hungry. “You’re incredible.”

I shot him a look that said idiot, stepped over the groaning bodies, and turned to leave.

But Victor didn’t take the hint. He kept following, his voice trailing after me. Annoyed, I spun and tapped a needle lightly over his heart. His knees buckled, and he dropped right there in the aisle.

Just then, Desmond rushed over with his friend in tow. “Nira! Everything okay?

I glanced at the mess on the floor. “Just took care of some pests.”

Desmond noticed Victor kneeling and let out a short laugh. “Well, well. Look at you, Victor. Didn’t expect to see you on your knees tonight.”

Victor wasn’t listening. His dazed eyes stayed fixed on me. “Tell me your name… please.”

Desmond’s friend Aaron Atkins-the owner of the bar-walked up, his expression cold. He signaled the bouncers. “Get them out.” Two heavily built security guys moved in, hoisted Victor and his friends like sacks, and started toward the exit.

“Do you have any idea who I am?” Victor shouted, struggling weakly. “My father is-”

“I don’t care who your father is,” Aaron cut him off, voice like ice. “Cause trouble for my guests in my place, and you’re done here.”

Once they were gone, scattered applause broke out across the bar.

Aaron turned to me, apologetic “Sorry about that. You shouldn’t have had to deal with those guys”
